Sinister Dr Todd darkens as Jacob reports her in Emmerdale

What is her goal?!

Dr Todd’s (Caroline Harker) reign of terror against Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) is only just beginning to gather speed in Emmerdale.

Jacob might have thought things hit their peak when the tiredness caused by Todd riding him so hard caused him to hit Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) with his car, but he was gravely wrong.

Her manipulation and gaslighting have hit expert levels, building him up to tear him down – making him believe she’ll ruin his career before telling him to just man up.

Controlling situations so that his work pal Rich turns against him. She’s even laid the groundwork of labelling him a stalker with Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker). She’s isolating him and stripping his confidence like a classic abuser.

Her decision to move into the village meant Jacob began to crumble under the pressure as she targeted him at work and at home, using his past with Maya against him. It’s any wonder he’s lasted this long.

Jacob takes action

It’s been feeling like there’s no way out for him and just as everything begins to seem hopeless, Jacob finds out he’s being called as a witness in Bear’s trial.

Seeing him walking around in a daze, Ross Barton (Mike Parr) checks on him. Jacob opens up about his bullying boss, but Ross is surprised to hear his boss is a woman.

Ross convinces Jacob that just speaking with her is a good idea, which is a classic Ross bad idea.

Doctor Todd paints Jacob as obsessive

Struggling to face her head on, Jacob chooses the next best option of going behind her back and reporting her to HR with a formal complaint.

Rich hears about his trip to HR and warns him he’s just rung the death knell on his career as a doctor, and he’s not wrong, as Dr Todd spots Jacob heading in for his meeting about the formal complaint.

A new plan forms in her mind, what’s she got in store for Jacob now?
