‘Mormon Wives’ Star Jessi Draper’s Engagement-Turned-Divorce Ring Estimated to Be Worth Up to $110K

Jessi Draper hopped on the divorce ring bandwagon.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, 33, repurposed her engagement ring from estranged husband Jordan Ngatikaura after he filed for divorce on March 19 after 5 years of marriage. Jeweler Laura Taylor opened up to Us Weekly about Jessi’s new ring, which she debuted earlier this month via Instagram.
“Jessi’s original engagement ring appeared to feature a 3 to 4-carat oval-cut centre diamond, set on a slim yellow gold solitaire band,” Taylor told Us about Draper’s engagement ring, which Ngatikaura, 31, proposed with in 2020.
Now, Jessi transformed the look for her newly-single era, thanks to Carats by Cindy. The oval-cut diamond is set in a chunky gold textured band. “Her new divorce ring appears to reuse that original center diamond, now reset into a ribbed yellow gold cigar-like band, with the stone set flush into the metal rather than raised above it,” Taylor, who has not personally worked on Draper’s ring, speculated to Us. “The sides of the stone are secured within the gold while the tips remain exposed, creating a more modern look that feels completely different from her engagement ring.”
Taylor added, “It was a classic and traditional engagement ring style, designed to place all of the focus on the centre stone.”
As for the cost, Taylor estimated Jessi’s new ring is likely worth “$65,000 to $110,000, depending on the final gold weight and the quality of the center stone.”

“If the diamond was natural and of good quality, I’d estimate the original ring could have been worth between $45,000 and $85,000, depending on the exact carat weight, color and clarity of the stone,” Taylor added.
More stars who have turned their engagement rings into divorce rings include Emily Ratajkowski, Rachel Zoe and Brooks Nader.
Jessi and Jordan, who share kids Jager, 5, and Jovi, 3, called it quits after making their reality TV debut. Their marriage issues were documented on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, including Jessi’s emotional affair with Marciano Brunette.
Following the news of their split, Jessi broke her silence on their divorce during a March episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, claiming she experienced “emotional abuse” from Jordan.
On Friday, April 24, Jordan clapped back, telling a fan that his “wife’s acting like a complete psycho [and] manic person.”
Jordan previously opened up to Us about their split, saying it “has not been an easy decision.”
“I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons. While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and protected through this transition,” he added. “I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect. I kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this as a family.”
