Coronation Street’s Beth Nixon wows with brand new look ahead of Megan exit
Beth Nixon has played Megan Walsh since last year

Coronation Street’s Beth Nixon has unveiled her new look ahead of her character’s departure from the ITV soap.
The actress arrived on the cobbles as Megan Walsh towards the end of last year.
The character was introduced to us as Will Driscoll’s (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) sports coach, but the teaching role was to cover up something far more sinister.
After Megan met the rest of Will’s family, it was confirmed that she had been sexually abusing him. Will believed that he was in a relationship with Megan, and was manipulated by her into keeping it a secret from his loved ones.
Everything changed when Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) managed to work out that something inappropriate was going on between Megan and Will. He attempted to prove his theory, but Megan was a step ahead of Sam the entire time.

Megan resorted to some pretty dark techniques to keep Sam quiet. She attacked his confidence, and would regularly tell him that even if he did tell someone about her and Will, he wouldn’t be believed.
This ended up having a serious impact on Sam’s mental health. After collapsing and getting rushed to hospital, Sam told Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) about Megan, but that most certainly wasn’t the end of the matter.
While the Driscolls reeled in the aftermath of the news about Megan, Will remained in denial that something bad had actually happened to him. With no physical evidence and Will being unable to accept his reality, it looked as though Megan was going to get away with grooming him.

A conversation with Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) eventually saw Will report Megan to the police. Tim told Will about being sexually abused by an older woman when he was younger, and the shared experiences helped Will realise the truth.
With Megan being a villain in the ITV soap, we know that she will eventually leave the show.
It’s very possible that actress Beth has already filmed her final scenes, as she was recently pictured at a film premier with new hair.
Beth has said goodbye to her blonde locks and has transformed her appearance with a new copper brown look. She was seen at the Finding Emily premier alongside her co-star Olivia Frances-Brown, who plays Jodie Ramsey.
She also shared her new do on her Instagram Stories recently, in a video that celebrated her birthday.
Next week in the ITV soap, Megan will make her way back to Weatherfield after being released on bail. She will manage to slip a note in Will’s pocket that has her new phone number on – but what Will does with this new information, and whether he contacts Megan again, remains to be seen.
Elsewhere, a number of Coronation Street cast members were pictured filming court scenes, fuelling the theory that Megan will eventually stand trial for abusing Will.
But is she going to face justice and go to prison, or will her exit happen another way?
