EastEnders fans spot awkward pause at start of Max Branning’s wedding episode in latest soap blunder
EastEnders fans have noticed a blunder at Max Branning’s wedding last night – after the scene ‘started’ with an awkward delay

EASTENDERS fans spotted a huge blunder at Max Branning’s wedding to Cindy Beale, the latest in a string of soap errors.
The gaffe happened during last night’s episode, when the opening scene “started” with an awkward delay.

Yesterday evening’s EastEnders picked up from the cliffhanger from the previous episode.
Tuesday night saw groom Max suffer a heart attack at the altar, on his wedding day to Cindy.
The Walford bad boy collapsed clutching his chest, just as he was about to confess his lies to his bride.
At the beginning of the night’s episode, just after the opening credits had rolled, the aftermath of Max having a heart attack was shown.
However, eagle-eyed fans noticed that rather than the characters springing into action to help a stricken Max, the cast looked like they were looking towards the EastEnders director.
They were seen standing still, before rushing to help the patriarch of the Branning household.

One viewer immediately posted the moment on X, and tweeted: “Did the episode start before the director said action?
“Surely that first shot wasn’t edited properly because why is everyone just stood there for the first few seconds?”
Responding to the clip, a fan replied: “I swear you can hear someone say action right at the start!”
While another added: “Exactly because why do the cast look to the front and then decide to help?”
This latest gaffe comes following a slew of recent EastEnders blunders, which have caught the eye of viewers.
Last week, Oscar was sat in the café and fans noticed that his phone had an error message.
Zooming in on this, one TikTok user posted: “I don’t think Kathy’s cafe has very good WiFi because why is Oscar on YouTube with no internet?
Before that, EastEnders fans were left in hysterics over a suspicious ‘fart’ blunder.
The BBC soap recently showed scenes of pregnant Penny in hospital, with partner Vinny by her side – but suddenly there was a funny sound, with viewers convinced someone had passed wind.
Another recent error saw fans hit out at soap during a prison scene that they branded it “ridiculous”.
It came when Chelsea Fox went to visit Ian Beale in prison, but then came face-to-face with her killer ex Gray Atkins.
But viewers were left confused over how Gray would have been allowed to pop into the visitor’s section without anybody coming to visit him.
