Emmerdale’s Jimmy King to risk Nicola’s fury ahead of exit plot

Will she tell him off for going AWOL?

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale‘s Jimmy King winds up his wife Nicola next week when he skives off work for a round of golf. When Jimmy discovers there’s an extra pair of hands working at the café, he decides to use Kev Townsend’s recruitment to his advantage.

Next week’s episodes see Nicola’s business partner Lewis Barton decide to give his biological dad a chance to prove himself at the local caff.

While Nicola is unhappy to be left working with Kev, Jimmy gets into the swing of things with Manpreet Sharma. How will Nicola react when she learns he’s been out playing golf instead of serving customers?

Kev returned to our screens last month after proving popular with fans during his initial two stints in the village.

When Kev revealed that he was Lewis’s long-lost father, he received a frosty reaction from his son. However, Lewis has since shown signs of wanting to get to know Kev, especially after learning the details of his troubled past.

Meanwhile, Nicola may have to get used to not having Jimmy around at the café, with recent reports suggesting that he’ll soon be leaving the village for good.

While nothing has been officially announced just yet, Jimmy is expected to bow out in a dramatic storyline as the ITV soap shakes up its cast.

Dawn Fletcher and Vinny Dingle have also been tipped to leave – as Lisa Riley, who plays Vinny’s mum Mandy, addressed in a recent interview.

“I don’t know where that’s come from! I can’t confirm nor deny,” she told the Daily Express, adding: “He’s my dream. We are like family. We’re so close. You can see how much we laugh. We’re a family at Emmerdale, and we are really happy.

“But whatever happens… I could be going! I’m not, I’m signed for a very long time.”

There’s at least one familiar face coming back though, as Patsy Kensit’s return scenes as schemer Sadie King are still on the way.
