EastEnders confirms Joel’s fate amid death fears in new advanced spoilers

EastEnders has confirmed Joel Marshall’s fate in advanced spoilers following the dramatic events of the latest episode. Tonight’s instalment sees the teens gang up to take revenge on Joel – with potentially fatal consequences.
Following Joel’s recent release from the young offenders, Avani and Amy concocted a plan to invite him to their end-of-term party, which he decided to attend. There, Avani pretended to make amends with Joel, while Lily – who has proved to be an unexpected ally – guiltily led him away for a walk.
They later returned to an ambush, with Joel locked to the railing and soaked in alcohol. However, the group later saw that he was gone, and discovered Joel face down in the Square after an attack on his head.
While this left his fate up in the air, spoilers from the week of 3 August reveal that Joel does survive, as dad Ross remains determined to help him.
Elsewhere on Albert Square, Sheila is set to put her plan in action amid the Gray Atkins storyline, and faces “mounting pressure”, while Peter grows suspicious of Lauren.
Ravi also tries to get answers from Priya about her mystery man, leading to some confessions.
