Emmerdale star reveals she’s returning to soap after NINE years offscreen – but there’s a twist

AN Emmerdale star who hasn’t been on the soap for nearly a decade is making her comeback – but there’s a twist.
The Sun can reveal that actress Ali Mylon is returning to the ITV soap, and she’s already back on the Yorkshire set filming.

The soap star, who has also appeared in Coronation Street, was last on Emmerdale nine years ago as a hotel guest who got into a spat with Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell).
But when she makes her comeback, Ali will be playing a completely new mysterious character.
A post recently shared by the acting agency that Ali is signed to confirmed the news of her return.
They wrote: “NEWS. Non stop client @alimylon is to make a return to @emmerdale. She begins filming this month.”
Ali’s first stint on Emmerdale in 2017 saw her play an irate hotel guest who accused Eric of spying on her when she was getting undressed.
It came after he accidentally placed some ladders next to her window.
Ali’s character went on to feud with Eric and called the police on him before refusing to pay her hotel bill.
As well as starring in Emmerdale and Corrie, the actress has also appeared in the much-loved BBC dramas Call The Midwife and Peaky Blinders.
The star is also known for treading the boards, and can often be found doing panto at Christmas.
Over on Instagram, Ali often shares snippets of her family life with her husband and two kids.
