Next week on Coronation Street, Celeste passes away, but before she dies, she drops a bombshell on Gemma that could have devastating consequences for the family.
Meanwhile, Ronnie plots to steal Idris’s car to repay Fiona, while Bethany and Shona are shocked when Jodie and Kit go on a date.
Here are 15 big moments to watch out for.
1. Celeste shares some bad news with Gemma

Gemma confronts Todd about his treatment of George, but Todd is quick to point out that Gemma has shown no interest in visiting her dying aunt.
Taking Todd’s words to heart, Gemma visits Celeste. When Celeste’s health begins to deteriorate, Gemma makes a hasty exit. Todd arrives but soon storms out after an angry confrontation with Celeste.
Later, Gemma informs Bernie that Celeste has passed away and left behind some worrying news for the family. What did Celeste tell Gemma?
2. Todd learns that Celeste has died

With news of Celeste’s death spreading, George steels himself to break the news to Todd. Mary is worried about Todd’s current state of mind and suggests they rally to support him over dinner.
Following his argument with Celeste, Todd is late for work having stayed out all night. He calls to visit Celeste at the hotel and reels when Ryan tells him that she’s passed away.
3. Celeste’s news rocks her family

Gemma informs Kit that Celeste has died and shares what she has discovered about the family.
Meanwhile, Dev tries to console Bernie when he finds her crying in the Rovers’ back yard.
Gemma tries to stay strong for the family and promises Bernie that she’ll stand by her no matter what.
Gemma faces a further hurdle when Bethany confides her fears about Kit’s sudden mood swings. Gemma realises she has to tell Bethany the truth.
4. Todd carries out Celeste’s dying wish

Hungover after another night of drinking, Todd tidies Celeste’s hotel room and finds a letter addressed to him. He reveals to George that Celeste no longer wanted a funeral, preferring a party in her memory instead.
Todd carries out Celeste’s wishes and throws a remembrance party in the hotel bar. With Celeste’s family assembled, Todd reads out a message from Celeste.
5. Ronnie resorts to drastic measures

With his debt to Fiona hanging over his head, Ronnie tells Carl that he’s considering stealing Idris’s car to pay her back.
Carl pockets Idris’s keys in the Rovers and hands them over to Ronnie. Will he go through with his plan?
6. Ronnie is accused

Idris reports his car stolen and admits that he can’t remember where he left his keys.
Later, Idris has reason to suspect Ronnie may be responsible. He accuses Ronnie of being behind the crime and punches him.
Carl begs Ronnie to keep his cool for Debbie’s sake.
7. Jodie makes a move on Kit

Jodie informs Shona and Bethany that she has received community service for her assault on Sarah and will be forced to pick up litter.
With Shona stressed out caring for Harper in David’s absence, Jodie interferes.
Later, Jodie overhears Bethany organising a date and can’t resist making a scathing comment. Bethany is quick to shut Jodie down, but Jodie gets her own back by proposing a date to Kit.
8. Bethany has a warning for Kit

Shona is appalled to learn that Jodie has organised a date with Kit and accuses her of betraying Sarah.
Meanwhile, Bethany’s date with Roman is going well until Jodie and Kit arrive at the bistro. Bethany can’t hide her annoyance and explains to Roman about Sarah’s predicament and that she only ended things with Kit weeks ago.
As Jodie flirts with Kit, Bethany sees red. Bethany warns Kit that Jodie is toxic and that he would be wise to steer clear. Jodie invites Kit back for a nightcap, but will he take Bethany’s advice?
9. Jodie plays games with Shona

Shona continues to struggle without David around. She is panicked when Harper develops a rash but is relieved to see it’s just a symptom of teething.
Later, Jodie decides to play with Shona’s head by hiding her car keys.
Shona calls David to recount her nightmare day but is horrified to realise she has left Harper in the car.
10. Shona makes her feelings clear

Shona races outside to find Harper safe with Daniel. Jodie orders Shona to rest in bed and invites Kit over while she looks after Harper.
Shona comes downstairs and is unimpressed to see the couple enjoying a glass of wine. Shona interrupts the pair’s evening and warns Kit that dating Jodie would be a huge mistake.
11. Debbie relives her past

Debbie has a moment of forgetfulness when she comes to work in her slippers. When Ronnie points out her error, Debbie is embarrassed and suggests they go home.
Things worsen for Debbie later in the week, when she relives her hairdressing past and arrives at the salon to work. Bethany plays along as Debbie attempts to give her a makeover, but thankfully Maria comes to the rescue just as Debbie lifts the scissors.
12. Ronnie is worried about Debbie

Debbie rushes out following the incident at the salon and gives Ronnie the cold shoulder at the hotel. It’s clear that events have taken their toll, and Debbie suffers a meltdown.
When the dust has settled, Kevin and Abi take Debbie for lunch to discuss her upcoming birthday. Following Debbie’s recent experiences, Ronnie suggests it may be wise to dial down her party plans.
13. Betsy has an unexpected guest

Lauren visits Betsy but spends the entire time texting Ollie. Betsy is frustrated by Lauren’s preoccupation with Ollie and admits to Lisa that she’s feeling lonely.
With her physiotherapist’s help, Betsy has a huge breakthrough and manages to stand for the first time since her stroke.
Later, Lauren brings Ollie along to visit Betsy. How will Betsy react?
14. Lauren tries to encourage Betsy

Lauren tries to lift Betsy’s spirits by insisting they go out for lunch and refuses to take no for an answer.
In the bistro, Betsy knocks the cutlery off the table. When Debbie jokes that she’s drunk, Betsy is embarrassed.
15. Nina leaves Weatherfield

Nina invites her friends for farewell drinks in the Rovers ahead of her departure.
Before she leaves, she shares a moment with Abi in Seb’s memorial garden. Accompanied by Roy, Nina bids goodbye to her friends and leaves for Whitby.
