‘He hasn’t always made it easy’: The unlikely bond between Vince Colosimo’s exes
And Vince has found love again, years after an extortion plot threatened his relationship.
Despite sharing the same famous ex, there’s no bad blood between Jane Hall and Diana Glenn.
The women, who both share a child with Underbelly star Vince Colosimo, have formed a close friendship over the years while navigating their unique co-parenting situation.
Vince and Jane met on the set of A Country Practice in the early 1990s, and were married for almost a decade, before splitting in 2007. They share a daughter named Lucia, who was born in 2002.
After the split, Vince was in a relationship with Diane for three years, and they welcomed a son named Massimo in 2014.
A source close to the family told Woman’s Day the women found common ground while navigating the ups and downs of their blended family life with Vince.
“Both women have worked hard to put their kids’ happiness and wellbeing first, even when circumstances haven’t always been straightforward. Rather than letting old complications dictate their relationship, they have found common ground in wanting the children to feel supported, loved and secure,” the insider claims.
“For Jane and Diana, the priority has always been doing what they believe is right for their families, regardless of how complicated things involving Vince may become. They’re both mums who want exactly the same thing — happy, healthy kids and as much peace and stability as possible.”
Overtime, the women appear to have formed a genuine friendship, with Jane being one of the first people to congratulate Diane when she finished her masters degree in 2024.
Despite their shared history, our insider says neither woman is interested in “rehashing the past” and they’ve vowed to keep their focus on Lucia and Massimo.
“There’s no bad blood between Jane and Diana. They’ve built a friendship that makes things much easier for everyone, including Vince, even though he hasn’t always made it easy,” our source spills.
“They understand what it’s like navigating the same family dynamics and navigating Vince.”
Meanwhile, 59-year-old Vince seems to have found love again… with another ex!
The Wog Boy star was in a relationship with Australian filmmaker and producer Sabella Sugar from 2017 until mid-2023. The pair split up after they were the target of an alleged extortion attempt.
In late 2021, a woman named “Chelsea” contacted Sabella and alleged that she had been in a secret relationship with Vince for 20 years. She then allegedly demanded the couple pay her $50,000 or she would go to the media with her claims.
In January this year, rumours began swirling that the couple were back together, after Vince joined Sabella, and her two children from a previous relationship, on a family holiday.
The Underbelly star was spotted in a video of holiday highlights that Sabella posted on Instagram with the caption, “Salt in my hair, slow mornings, sandy feet”.
“Endless summer days on the Mornington Peninsula — the best moments aren’t loud,” she continued. “They’re slow beach days, familiar faces, shared laughs,and holding loved ones close 🩵🩵🩵
“Where rest comes easy and family is everything. Turns out the most important things in life are already close.”
The following month, on Valentine’s Day, she confirmed the relationship was back on when she posted a tribute to the 59-year-old on Instagram.
“Love isn’t always roses 🌹,” she captioned the post. “It’s late-night talks, hard conversations, growth, forgiveness, and choosing each other every single day.”
She continued on to say that Vince had stood by her “through the good times and the challenging ones” and taught her to “focus on what truly matters”.
“Family is everything. And I’m beyond grateful for the life and memories we’ve built together,” she continued. “Here’s to us — imperfect, strong, and forever growing.”
