The latest visit to the village left fans with their mouths agape after Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) unexpectedly blew the biggest of all bombshells, revealing to Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) that Leyla is not her biological child.
The revelation has been a long time coming, with the stars of the show and the viewers at home having been looking forward to seeing how it would all unfold – and it’s safe to say it didn’t disappoint.
Charity now has some serious explaining to do!
Sadie King (Patsy Kensit), meanwhile, is in a similar boat after Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) returned home to Victoria Cottage to unexpectedly find her love rival snooping through her belongings.
Nicola demanded answers as a sly Sadie remained speechless.

Charity gets set to explain
Picking directly up from Friday’s cliffhanger, Sarah asks her gran for an explanation after Charity revealed that baby Leyla is her biological daughter – not Sarah’s.
Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), who only found out himself a number of weeks ago, opts to leave Charity and Sarah alone so that they can have a proper discussion.
Knowing it’s too late to put the truth back in a bottle, Charity heads back towards Jacob’s Fold, with Sarah following suit, setting the scene for the long-awaited confrontation between granddaughter and grandmother.

Sadie caught red-handed
Sadie’s return after two decades has well and truly turned Nicola’s life upside down.
The much-loved villainess has claimed that Jimmy (Nick Miles), who tragically died last week, had been in a secret relationship with her for three years, behind Nicola’s back!
Nicola didn’t believe her at first but she’s subsequently come to think Sadie might be telling the truth. Furtive Sadie, however, definitely has an agenda as she lingered outside Victoria Cottage, waiting for Nicola to vanish before heading inside.
Nicola caught her red-handed and demanded answers, with the above clip previewing the aftermath as Sadie cleverly covers once more.
