Emmerdale star reveals he’s engaged to model girlfriend after proposal saying ‘finally get to call you my fiancee’
AN Emmerdale star has revealed that he’s engaged to his model girlfriend.
After a very romantic proposal, Jack Parr, who played an attacker called Jordan in the soap, has gushed that he can “finally” call his partner his fiancée.
Sharing a selection of smitten snaps after popping the question to his stunning model girlfriend Mellie Anne Haynes, Jack revealed the engagement happened on September 18.
In the caption he wrote: “I finally get to call you my fiancée,” complete with a ring emoji.
Commenting on the post, loved ones and fans were quick to congratulate the bride and groom to be.
“What a special moment. Congratulations on your engagement,” said one person.
“Woop Woop massive congratulations to you both,” penned a second.
“Congratulations you two!!!!!! So excited for you both. Love you,” added a third.
While a fourth said: “Jack!!!!! This is wonderful and I’m thrilled and delighted for you both. Huge congratulations.”
And a fifth wrote: “The BEST news!!!!!! Over the moon for you both!!!!”
In 2022, Jack played the role of Billy Fletcher’s vile racist attacker, a character named Jordan Greenlow.
His character Jordan was seen brutally attacking Billy Fletcher, played by Jay Kontzle, and taken to the police station.
As fans watched the episodes when they aired, they realised they recognised Jack from somewhere.
Jack played Dougie Bill in the hit BBC period gangster drama Peaky Blinders across two episodes of the final series of the programme.
“Hey, it’s Peaky Blinders guy!” one wrote, as a second chimed in: “Cast a Peaky Blinders actor in the role of Billy’s racist attacker.”
