Jessie Wallace’s pal accidentally gives away HUGE EastEnders spoiler as star promotes his boozy club night in Newquay

EASTENDERS star Jessie Wallace’s future on the soap as Queen Vic landlady Kat Slater has been seemingly revealed.
It comes after The Sun previously reported how the actress, 55, is set to take a break from the long-running BBC show alongside on-screen husband Shane Richie, 62.

A pal of the star, who joined EastEnders in 2000, posted a video of her on social media with her promoting a pub night of his – and called her an “ex landlord” hinting that her character Kat is about to lose the Queen Vic pub.
The video showing Jessie away from the soap was captioned: “You’ve been ordered by one ex landlady to get your best Budgie Smugglers on and get down to the @newquayredlion Newquay on Friday night !!! See y’all at 9pm”
The Sun revealed in July that Jessie is taking a break from her role as Queen Vic landlady Kat this Christmas.
The actress has been given permission by bosses to take a big-money job in panto.
A source said: “Jessie will be taking a short break from the soap to appear in panto.
“Bosses agreed to the short break because it’s over Christmas and won’t hugely affect filming.

“It’s a huge bonus for Jessie. She’s one of the show’s biggest names and can command huge fees for panto appearances.”
The Sun has revealed that same month how Jessie’s on- screen husband Shane will also be taking a break from the soap.
The actor will also be treading the boards in panto this festive season.
Shane will play Muddles, alongside Steps‘ Faye Tozer as the Wicked Queen, in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Cliffs Pavilion in Southend-on-Sea.
A source said: “Usually the landlords of the pub are central to the show and there’s not much chance of any time off but clearly that’s not the case for Jessie and Shane.
“The absences won’t be addressed onscreen but it’s pretty weird that the pub landlords won’t be in the soap as much.”
