Next week on EastEnders, Alfie is by Kat’s side as she continues to search for the truth about the night Zoe died. Cindy is intrigued when she gets wind of the mysterious circumstances – and Max had better watch out as her vendetta against him steps up a gear.
Meanwhile, Craig’s influence over Amy reaches new heights as Denzel is caught in the crossfire, and Lauren risks everything to go after Ned.

1. Kat and Alfie seek out the last person to see Zoe alive
Grief-stricken Kat is as determined as ever to find the man she believes left Zoe to die. When she and Alfie track down the former owner of Charlie’s cab, they are disappointed to hear that he’s already been cleared by police.
But this development only spurs Kat on, and she vows to get justice. Viewers are well aware, though, that Max was the one in Zoe’s room that night when she was struggling with a head injury and he walked away after assuming she was drunk.
2. Jasmine is suspicious of Kat
Kat’s granddaughter Jasmine keeps a close eye on her behaviour, and she becomes increasingly suspicious.
As Jasmine questions Alfie, will she end up joining them in their quest for answers over Zoe’s final moments?
3. Craig makes another sickening move
Denzel’s blackmailer demands the money or his pictures will be leaked, and Nugget tries to help by stealing the cash from the Minute Mart. He and Denzel are stopped by Yolande, so desperate Denzel raises the funds by pawning his signet ring – a gift from Howie and Kim.
As Denzel’s loved ones gather for some belated birthday celebrations, Craig watches from a distance, but is spotted and confronted by Amy. A jealous Craig then sends Denzel’s photos to Kim and Howie, leaving Denzel and the family horrified.
4. Cindy returns home with a surprise guest
Max tries to charm Suki into selling him No.31, and hears Cindy has returned from their honeymoon with a young man named Rafael. Cindy announces that she’s ready to look to the future, but her pride is knocked when her card is declined.
Max eventually agrees to help her financially, but Cindy’s suspicions are raised when she finds a lipstick at his flat. It leaves Cindy determined to find out who his mystery woman is. Will she realise Linda is Max’s latest lover?
5. Phil helps Gemma with her car trouble
Gemma and Jodie try to keep their car troubles from Ned, and they’re disappointed when Phil initially refuses to help.
But after a nudge from Sharon, Phil has a change of heart and agrees to step in with a solution about Gemma’s car. Can Phil save the day?
6. Denzel is forced into a confession
The fallout continues over Denzel’s photos, and he ends up admitting that he sold his new ring to pay off the blackmailer. How will Kim and Howie react?
Meanwhile, unaware of what the culprit, Craig, is truly capable of, Amy turns to him for support. Craig sees an opportunity when she mentions her upcoming inheritance, and Amy agrees to leave Walford with him.
7. Cindy makes a discovery about Max
Digging into Max’s secret relationship, Cindy questions Lauren. She then learns from Gemma that Max plans to buy No.31. Next, Cindy turns her attention to Oscar, but what will he have to say?
In The Vic, Cindy overhears Max on the phone which leads to another row. Later that evening, something catches Cindy’s interest on the laptop she shares with Max.
8. A plan is formed to honour Zoe and cheer up Mo
Wanting to lift Mo’s spirits, Jasmine, Josh and Oscar arrange a bingo night in Zoe’s honour.
Will their well-intentioned plan do the trick?
9. Nancy hears of Elaine’s unlikely romance
There’s bound to be shock in store when Nancy discovers that her nan Elaine had a fling with none other than Ian Beale!
Ian was recently released from prison for dangerous driving, and when Elaine reached out to him, he gave her the brush off, claiming he needed to focus on rebuilding his life. Is that really the end for their connection?
10. Mark remains wary of Ned
Lauren continues to see a smitten Mark behind her husband Peter’s back, and makes arrangements for another secret rendezvous.
But when Mark spots Ned and Ryder nearby, he pulls away. Mark insists he and Lauren must keep their distance from Ned, who knows all about their affair.
11. Max is on the warpath
Cindy warns Lauren not to trust Max, and after she tells her daughter-in-law what she found on Max’s laptop, Cindy and Lauren gatecrash Max’s viewing appointment at No.31 to expose his secret New Zealand property.
Suki rejects Max’s offer in favour of another, and a humiliated Max declares war on Cindy. But Cindy is still on the hunt for ammunition against him, and she soon learns of Kat’s revenge plan and the man who abandoned Zoe.
12. Amy is confronted by Denzel
Jack and Amy remain at odds, and Amy searches for a way to get hold of her inheritance early. But as Denzel questions Amy’s version of events from earlier in the week, she avoids giving any answers.
Will Denzel unearth Craig’s involvement and the fact that he’s grooming Amy?
13. Lauren turns detective
Ian leans on Ned and is buoyed by the newcomer’s words of encouragement. But with Lauren aware Ned isn’t as decent as he makes out, she’s concerned about his influence on Ian and his new outlook on life.
Lauren ignores Mark’s warnings as she starts digging into Ned’s past, and soon Ryder provides a cryptic clue about Ned’s former career. Will Lauren regret investigating Ned?
14. Cindy demands answers from Max
Max persuades Oscar to help him prove his marriage to Cindy was never consummated. But as the drinks flow, Cindy’s suspicions are heightened.
The following day, HMRC catch up with Max about his New Zealand property. Convinced he’s hiding something, Cindy demands answers from Max. Has she rumbled his link to Zoe’s death?
