Next week sees further sadness for the Slaters on EastEnders, as they prepare for Zoe’s funeral. Meanwhile, distraught Jack takes urgent action after Amy disappears from the Square, and the Carter family is left reeling after some upsetting revelations.

1. Plans for Zoe’s funeral hit a snag
The Slater family is getting ready to say a sad farewell to Zoe, but their funeral plans are disrupted due to problems with the order of service.
Jean, Mo and Honey team up to fix things before Kat, who’s already lashed out at her loved ones as she struggles with her grief, finds out.
Meanwhile, Jasmine turns to Patrick for support, as she’s struggling to finish her mum’s eulogy in time for the service.
2. Kat’s grief leads to more trouble
Jasmine gets praise from the family when she steps in and stands up for Jean after a customer at The Albert tries to cause trouble. The Slater family favourably compares Jasmine’s behaviour with Zoe’s.
But later, Cindy and struggling Kat get into an argument with a customer outside The Albert, leading to further issues…
3. Kat confides in Cindy
After another difficult night, Kat opens up about Zoe’s funeral to Cindy, and tells her about her efforts to try and track down the man she believes left Zoe to die.
Kat’s emotional revelations leave Cindy feeling guilty, as she now knows that Max is hiding secrets about his actions on the night of Zoe’s death.
4. The Slaters say their last goodbyes to Zoe
With Zoe’s funeral under way, Kat arrives late. However, she doesn’t want to hold things up any further and insists that the service continues as planned.
The family’s moving farewells include a joint eulogy from Jasmine and Josh, and Kat’s tender tribute to Zoe.
5. An argument ruins Zoe’s wake
Following the funeral service, Walford comes together as people share memories of Zoe at The Queen Vic.
Unfortunately, the wake is disrupted when Max turns up, looking for Lee. Cindy takes the opportunity to start an argument with him as Lee turns up. And a shocking revelation only derails the day further…
6. Max and Jack face a race against time
Max meets Jack for a chat after a difficult few days. However, their conversation is abruptly cut short by Oscar.
He’s come to tell them that he’s seen Amy packing her bags to leave Walford – and Craig is with her.
Jack and Max dash back across the Square to try and stop them – but they fail and can only watch as Craig drives away with Amy…
7. Jack’s search for Amy leads him to Craig’s flat
Jack is distraught over Amy’s sudden exit from Walford with Craig, and he starts a search with help from police colleagues.
He decides to keep news of her departure from Denise to prevent adding to her stress – although she’s certain that something odd is going on behind her back.
With Max’s help, Jack also breaks into Craig’s flat, having become convinced that the crooked copper’s unwelcome influence explains Amy’s recent behaviour.
8. Jess exposes Lee’s lies to the Carter family
Lee and Linda return to Walford after an unsuccessful attempt to track down his ex-partner Jess.
But they get a huge shock when they find Jess waiting for them at Peacock Palace – and she makes some serious allegations about Lee’s behaviour.
The atmosphere is tense, and Linda can’t get Jess’s claims out of her head. After some snooping, Linda finds out that Jess was telling the truth about Lee, who loses his cool under the strain.
9. Denise learns the truth about Amy
Denise’s suspicions are rising as Max discreetly continues the search for Amy.
Eventually, Darnell admits to Denise that Amy has gone missing, and Jack then has to tell a concerned Denise everything about the circumstances of her disappearance.
Later, Ash stops by to check in with Denise, and is worried about the impact that stress is having on her.
10. Jack is left stunned by an unexpected arrival
As Jack becomes increasingly distressed about Amy’s failure to return to the Square, an unexpected arrival grabs his attention.
Who has turned up in Walford, and could they help Jack at a moment of real need?
11. Lee’s behaviour divides his family
With tensions in the Carter family running high, Lee tries to make amends with Nancy. But she’s still angry with her brother and says that she will refuse to give up parental responsibility for the baby after she gives birth.
As the family process what Jess’s bombshell means for them, Linda is convinced that she can help Lee rebuild bridges with the loved ones he’s betrayed.
12. Max steps up to help Lee
Meanwhile, Max senses that Lee needs help, and reaches out to make him an offer of work.
With Lee unimpressed by Max’s secret relationship with Linda, will he accept Max’s support?
13. Jodie’s family try to play matchmaker
After Jodie and Kojo clash, Harry talks him into helping with the Halloween celebrations at Harry’s Barn – but he doesn’t know that Jodie has done the same thing…
As preparations get going, Kojo and Jodie grow closer despite his initial dislike of her, leading the Hawkins family to try and set them up. Will they be successful?
