Emmerdale

All Emmerdale spoilers for next week as dark Halloween nightmares confirmed for show legends

It’s not going to be a fun spooky season for this lot!

A kidnap, a stabbing, a cruel game and a murder mystery day that spins totally out of control is what we have to look forward to in next week’s Emmerdale.

Kim Tate (Claire King) is sickened when baby Tate is kidnapped, and calls on DS Thea Ramsden (Chelsea Edge) for help, but when they both accuse each other of terrible crimes, a knife comes into play – but will mother or daughter end up on the receiving end of it?

Wounded by not receiving an invitation to Liam Cavanagh’s (Jonny McPherson) murder mystery night, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) decides to throw one of her own, but when Liam ends up tied up and at the mercy of a gun-wielding madman, just how wrong has her sweet plan gone?

Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) continues to expertly manipulate Caleb and Ruby Miligan (William Ash and Beth Cordingly), convincing him that she’s an alcoholic while dripping poison in her ear that Caleb is controlling her, but will she hit pay dirt and successfully destroy them?

Elsewhere, Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) receives a shock that rocks him to the core and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) is hit with a nasty blast from the past.

There’s no bungled mystery here – we’ve got all the spoilers you need! Let’s get into it!

Chas accuses Liam of playing around

As Liam and Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) arrive home together, Chas accuses them of having an affair, but she’s cowed when Claudette Anderson (Flo Wilson) reveals they’d all been at a murder mystery night, and offended when Liam explains why she wasn’t invited, leaving her to suggest to Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) that she could prove him wrong.

Sadie continues to manipulate Caleb and Ruby, getting Ruby drunk after Caleb admits he’s worried about her drinking while framing him as controlling to her, which leads to a clash with Manpreet and when Caleb intervenes, Sadie plays both sides of the battle, revelling in the trouble she’s caused.

Elsewhere, baby Tate is taken from the cottage, and as Kim tries to keep Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) in the dark, she drafts in Thea with strict instructions to exclude the police.

Liam misreads the situation

Chas’ surprise murder mystery day for Liam gets underway, but she’s left ticked off when he struggles to remain enthusiastic and later, Liam allows himself to be tied up by newcomer Dave (Nick Pearce), thinking it’s part of the game, unknowing that Dave is actually hunting for Dylan.

Sadie continues to try and convince Ruby that Caleb is controlling, while also amplifying Ruby’s drinking to Caleb, and her cruel scheme pays dividends when Ruby pointedly swigs wine in front of Caleb, attempting to defy his supposed control.

Meanwhile, baby Tate’s kidnapper demands a ransom from the Tate clan, and later calls Graham to the cottage.

Things turn physical between Kim and Thea

Kim accuses Thea of taking baby Tate, and as things turn physical, Kim stabs Thea, only realising she’s innocent as she bleeds out on the floor, while Graham finds baby Tate safe and sound but is horrified to discover who the kidnapper is.

Dylan’s terrified to return home and find Dave, who accuses him of grassing him up to the police, as Liam realises that he’s in serious danger, while Marlon and Chas come home, leading Dave to knock Marlon out and pull a gun, ushering Chas outside.

Also, when a spat between Ruby and Caleb ruins a potential client deal, they descend into a bitter argument, and when Ruby leaves, Sadie convinces Caleb that Ruby is alcohol dependent.

Kim’s terrified of what could happen

As Graham struggles to get his head around the truth of baby Tate’s kidnap, Kim takes Thea to the hospital, but pales when they insist on calling in the police.

Sadie intensifies her mind games, zeroing in on Ruby and going full throttle in trying to convince her that Caleb is a controlling monster.
