Nat Bass shocks hosts with X-rated sex life confession

“I can’t believe I’m telling you this on the radio,” Nat Bass confessed after offering some jaw-dropping details about her sex life.

Australian entertainer Natalie Bassingthwaighte shocked even herself during an appearance on Hit Network’s Carrie and Tommy show on Tuesday, divulging a few X-rated details about her love life with fiance Pip Loth.

The couple went public with their relationship in 2023 and announced their engagement in October last year. For Bassingthwaighte, speaking publicly about her new love also meant coming out publicly, as the twice-married star had only been in relationships with men before.

Two-and-a-half years after that fraught time, Bassingthwaighte told hosts Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little that she and Pip, who uses they/them pronouns, are doing better than ever.

Natalie Bassingthwaighte surprised even herself with her on-air confessions yesterday.

“I just feel like I’m seen and I’m really heard. I think they [Pip] understand me more than I understand myself. It’s pure and it’s beautiful. There’s a lot of conversations – with girls, it’s a lot! It’s also so beautiful, sweet, caring, kind, and … sexy,” she said.

Carrie asked her guest if sex with Pip was “so different” to with her previous male partners – a question Tommy noted he “would have wanted to ask” if he didn’t feel it might be inappropriate.

The intimate query was met with an enthusiastic response from Nat Bass.

“Yes! Yes! The first time that we had actually had sex, after about six or seven hours … I can’t believe I’m telling you this on the radio! It was so good … I left and my whole body was shaking so much. I get in the car and I’m like, ‘Don’t touch me’, I was shaking,” she recalled.

“If I had sex for seven hours, I’d die,” joked Tommy.

Nat and partner Pip Loth met through work – and love blossomed.
Nat proposed at Niagara Falls in October last year.

Nat Bass divulges even more secrets in her newly-released memoir, Love Like This, detailing the slow breakdown of her marriage to Rogue Traders drummer – and father to her two children – Cameron McGlinchey, and how a working relationship with stage manager Pip evolved into a romantic connection neither could ignore.

Nat Bass initially came out about her relationship with Pip in a 2023 Stellar interview, surprising even herself as she revealed for the first time the real reason she and her husband had separated.

But media and public interest in the new relationship soon took a toll, and weeks later she posted an emotional video on Instagram asking for privacy and slamming those who’d criticised her choices.

This is Nat’s first same-sex relationship…
… an awakening she details in her new memoir, Love Like This.

“I was hurting because I have children, I have an ex-husband who I adore, I have family and I have a partner who finds it confronting to be exposed in the media,” she told us months after posting that video.

“They’re shy. They’re not a ‘look at me’ person. To have themselves talked about or have themselves photographed or anything is incredibly overwhelming, and I’m very protective of that. I’m protective of my kids being bullied.”

She told Carrie and Tommy she had been asked to write her memoir around that time but was not ready to share her story so candidly.

“I was like, ‘Hell no! I do not want anyone knowing my deepest and darkest secrets.’ It felt very overwhelming; I wasn’t in the greatest space mental health wise. And then, I started writing again. I was so inspired, and I couldn’t stop. It was a process of deep diving, and it was excruciating at times.”
