1. An arrest is made

Kit begins a series of interrogations in search of answers.

As the residents try to process the tragedy, the pathologist’s report confirms that a murder has taken place.

Lisa’s line of questioning results in inconsistencies emerging in someone’s story and a public arrest is made.

2. The investigation continues

Following the arrest, those closest to the suspect struggle to accept what’s happened.

Meanwhile, Kit and Lisa believe the case has been cracked after the discovery of new forensic evidence.

However, as someone else tries to destroy incriminating evidence of their own, have Kit and Lisa got the wrong person?

3. A new suspect enters the frame

The investigation continues, and a suspicious partner demands answers over a sudden change in behaviour.

The new suspect temporarily throws Kit and Lisa off the scent with a desperate lie.

As police tech experts try to recover deleted evidence, the person in question realises that they aren’t out of the woods yet.

4. A discovery is made

The discovery of a seemingly innocent photograph confirms the hidden presence of someone at the scene of the crime.

Has the murderer been caught red-handed?

5. There’s chaos for the Platts

Shona fears for Jodie’s safety following the dramatic events at Number 8 and turns to David for support.

Shona’s concern heightens when the forensic results suggest something more sinister than she thought.

6. David makes a confession

David reveals Jodie’s deception to Shona and admits he was lured into bed under false pretences.

The confession is interrupted by Kit, who informs the couple that the blood at the crime scene belongs to more than one person.

7. Shona receives news about Jodie

David lists Jodie’s history of bizarre behaviour to Shona but as the couple argue, they are unaware that someone is watching them.

David insists to Shona that they need to tell the police everything they know about Jodie.

Later, Shona is horrified when shocking news about Jodie arrives at her door. What’s happened to Jodie?

8. Eva tries to smooth things over

The whole truth about Megan’s past and Maggie’s actions is set to become a ticking time bomb for the Driscoll family.

Meanwhile, Melanie insists that Will come to Scotland with her in the wake of the events with Megan, but Ben refuses to entertain the idea.

After Ben drops a fresh bombshell about Megan, Eva tries to reason with Melanie and explains that Megan fooled them all.

9. Will is pressured

Melanie suggests to Will that he join her in Scotland despite Ben’s protests. Melanie starts pressuring Will, but he loses his temper with her and storms out.

Melanie refuses to give up on her proposal and returns to The Rovers to insist upon Will’s move.

Later, Ben reluctantly tells Will that some time in Scotland might be good for him. Ben is surprised when Will agrees to leave the next day.

10. Theft drama at The Rovers

Ben takes money out of the safe but is distracted when Sean offers him some parenting advice. Ben quickly exits, leaving the safe door open.

Susie heads downstairs and is shocked to see someone rummaging in the safe.

11. Todd finds an unlikely confidante

Following his attempt to leave Weatherfield, Todd tells George he’s angry that Theo hasn’t been held responsible for his actions.

Later, Danielle approaches Todd to talk about Theo. Todd is surprised when Danielle opens up about her own traumatic experience with Theo, and the pair bond.

12. Hope winds up Daniel

Daniel shares his suspicion with Hope that she used AI to write a poem. His accusation causes Hope to retaliate by making a remark about Megan.

Daniel orders Hope to write a new poem and is appalled when she writes one about him and Megan.

Daniel sees red and tries to grab the paper out of Hope’s hand. Hope accuses him of assault as Mrs Crawshaw enters and demands an explanation.

13. Daniel hides away

Daniel rants to Ken over Mrs Crawshaw’s disciplinary action.

Later, Daniel fills Adam in on what happened but his angry outburst upsets Bertie.

Daniel decides to take some time out and tells Ken and Adam that he’s heading to the Lakes. The pair agree to watch Bertie while he’s away but once he’s home alone, Daniel turns to a bottle of whisky.

14. Ronnie tells a lie

Debbie waits for an update on Carl.

15. Betsy is traumatised

Following her disturbing discovery, Betsy is traumatised by the incident.

Carla and Lisa try to comfort her and reveal that they are postponing their honeymoon to take care of her.
