1. Cain goes in for surgery
The day of Cain’s prostate operation arrives. Moira tries to be strong for her husband, while Kyle worries about possible complications.
When Cain is taken for surgery, Kyle struggles to hide his panic.
2. Cain receives some tough love
Cain’s operation goes well, but once he’s regained consciousness, he struggles with having to use a catheter. Fearing that he could be facing permanent incontinence, Cain ends up faking pain so that he won’t be discharged yet.
With Cain’s family frustrated over the way he’s behaving, Sarah steps in and gives him some tough love – accusing him of self-pity. Taking this on board, Cain finally agrees to go home.
3. Moira tells Cain what she’s been hiding
Aaron and Robert pay a visit to see Cain, who notices an atmosphere between the couple and Moira.
Once their visitors have gone, Cain demands answers and is shocked as Moira reveals that Robert was the one who planted the incriminating documents at Butlers. Cain refuses to let this go and seeks out Sam for a revenge plan.
4. Robert pays the price
While Robert is working on the farm, Sam creeps up on him and knocks him unconscious.
When Robert wakes up in the Butlers farmhouse, he’s shocked as Cain confronts him with a hammer and orders him to pay for his actions! How far will Cain go to take his revenge?
5. Jacob tries to make peace – but it doesn’t last
On the day that Dr Todd attends her father’s funeral, Jacob starts to worry that their workplace tensions have gone too far. Sarah reminds him that Dr Todd was the problem rather than him, but Jacob just wants to move on.
Jacob pays a visit to Todd and offers his condolences, as well as apologising for how nasty things have become. Todd accepts the apology and seems gracious, but later warns Jacob that she knows a secret which could make his life hell! It’s clear that she hasn’t changed…
6. Vanessa and Dr Todd arrange a date
Mary plays matchmaker between Vanessa and Dr Todd. Vanessa finally asks her housemate out and they arrange a date.
However, when Todd later announces that she has inherited her late father’s home in Matlock, Vanessa worries that the long distance will affect their relationship. She suggests that they should just be friends – but is this really the end?
7. Dr Todd resorts to blackmail again
Dr Todd realises that she can’t move house until she has raised some funds, so she targets Charity. Warning that she has definitive proof that Charity and Ross are Leyla’s biological parents, she demands £10,000 in return for her silence. Todd declares that it’s compensation for the pension Jacob cost her when she was forced to retire early.
As Charity mulls over Todd’s ultimatum, she’s worried to see her new nemesis kissing Vanessa at The Woolpack.
8. Bear struggles at the depot
Bear and Mandy start work at the depot, just in time for Jai to introduce a new ‘productivity chart’ competition. Although Bear makes a positive first impression by winning the contest, some words from Jai inadvertently trigger him – bringing back bad memories of his time on Celia’s farm.
As Bear continues to struggle, he snaps at Mandy and Kerry – and visibly flinches when Jai raises his voice. Mandy and Kerry point out that Bear is suffering from trauma, so Jai changes his harsh approach and reassures his new employee.
9. Lewis takes on a new challenge
Bob worries that the men’s darts team is a player short.
Fortunately, Lewis steps up to join, claiming that he’s experienced in the game. Can the team make a success of it?
