Ross Barton’s (Michael Parr) pursuit of Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) finally pays dividends next week in Emmerdale.
Embarking on a sexy and salacious affair proves to be enjoyable for Laurel, but with Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) practically bursting with excitement, will her loose lips turn the gaze of the village’s Queen of mean, Kim Tate (Claire King) in her direction?
Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) continues to crumble under the weight of Dr Caitlin Todd’s (Caroline Harker) vicious blackmail campaign, but when she finally tells cousin Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) about what’s going on, can she help find a way to pay the devious doctor off?
Elsewhere, Gabby Thomas’ (Rosie Bentham) hangover leads her to contemplate a healthier way of life, Sam Dingle (James Hooton) remains determined to impress Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) with his moves, while she laments the growing distance between them and Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) potentially finds a worthy protege.
Ready for another drama-filled week in the Dales?
Monday, June 1

As Gabby drowns her sorrows after her rejection from Ross, he promises Laurel to keep their ‘arrangement’ quiet, before she finally gives in to her feelings for him.
Sam pleads with Ross for more dance lessons, resulting in Lydia being wounded when he turns down a night in with her. When Kim discovers that he’s been lying about working extra hours, she’s gravely concerned for her best friend.
Elsewhere, Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) and Eric confront Archie Breckle (Kai Assi) after he cons them and, as punishment, he’s forced to work in the shop.
Tuesday, June 2

When Kim pulls out of buying the Woolpack, a desperate Charity rails at her. When Chas demands to know what’s going on, she comes clean and the two devise a scheme to rob Home Farm’s safe, using the money to pay Todd off.
As Nicola lives vicariously through the excitement of Laurel and Ross’ entanglement, she almost slips up and tells Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker), while Sam crashes Laurel and Ross’ night together, wanting more dance lessons. Ross thinks on his feet to cover and announces that Laurel will be helping him dance, while Kim’s suspicions over Sam intensify as Lydia feels a growing estrangement from him.
Meanwhile, Gabby’s hangover leads her to think about clean living, while Archie’s cunning money-making plot impresses Eric.
Wednesday, June 3

Taking his best friend to task, Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) implores Cain to find a practical way he can resume his life.
Laurel is thoroughly enjoying the thrill her secret fling with Ross is providing, and her guilt over Gabby eases when she declares she’s firmly over him.
Also, Gabby decides the Hide could use a menu makeover and begins to investigate providing healthy cuisine.
Thursday, June 4

Kim’s eyes narrow when Nicola spills the tea that Laurel is seeing another villager and she begins to suspect that Laurel is, in fact, seeing Sam.
Charity supplies Todd with some cash as a down payment on the full amount.
Ruthless as ever, Todd tells her she wants the rest of the money tomorrow or she’ll blow the secret of Leyla’s true parentage at Sarah Sugden’s (Katie Hill) 21st birthday party.
