Emmerdale

All Emmerdale spoilers for next week as Dr Todd twist brings hope for Charity

It’s not over yet…

The war against hideous rapist, Dr Todd (Caroline Harker), rages on next week in Emmerdale.

When Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) learns that a lack of evidence means the CPS won’t pursue Todd, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) and Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) are unwilling to let the case drop. As they dig for dirt at the hospital, Charity meets another victim of Todd. Will this change everything?

There’s clearly much more than meets the eye when it comes to Serena Sugden’s (Casey Al-Shaqsy), and her deep interest in Ross Barton (Michael Parr) and, more specifically, the inner workings of Home Farm remain shrouded in mystery. What is the newcomer up to?

Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) continues to struggle with the parallels between Monty the dog’s predicament and his own, causing tension with son, Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) and wife, Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb). When a camping trip with Kyle and Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) leads to danger, though, will Cain be okay?

Elsewhere, Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill) is hit with an unwelcome blast from the past, Kim Tate (Claire King) is the victim of a robbery, Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) struggles with Billy Fletcher’s (Jay Kontzle) fledgling romance with Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham), who herself continues to struggle with food.

Now back to a normal schedule, let’s get stuck into a full week of Emmerdale spoilers, shall we?

Vanessa and Mack scheme

Charity is broken all over again with the CPS decline to pursue her case against Todd due to lack of evidence, and Mack and Vanessa join forces to try and discover former complaints made against her at the hospital.

When Kim discovers that someone has broken into Home Farm, she arms herself with a shotgun and sets Ross to work in getting to the bottom of who it was. Ross’ mission is a failure, Moira boots him out when he accuses her, and when he turns his attention to Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), he finds himself scrapping with Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller). With Ross kicked out, Serena explains everything to Robert and is allowed to stay, while Kim discovers a USB stick has been stolen.

Elsewhere, Claudette Anderson (Flo Wilson) pushes Kev to keep his job at the café, and Nicola King’s (Nicola Wheeler) celebrations over his quitting are cut short when he announces that he wants to carry on working there.

Charity’s revelation floors Helen

Vanessa sets out to dig for dirt on Todd, and she and Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) meet with an HR rep. Charity discovers the scheme and, incensed, heads to face off with Vanessa. Meeting Helen (Nicole Evans), another victim of Todd, Charity tenderly reveals that Todd raped her, which clearly hits harrowed Helen hard.

With Robert out of action, Aaron is forced to offer Serena a job on the farm, but she uses it to continue getting close to Ross.

Meanwhile, Cain is desperate to seek further treatment for Monty, while Kev learns that Lewis Barton’s (Bradley Riches) birthday is coming up.

Serena and Ross share a date

Serena continues to pull Ross’ strings as she attends their date but spends much of it digging into the operations at Home Farm.

Cain’s focus on making Monty better puts further barriers between him and Moira and Kyle, the latter struggles with cadets due to his dads disinterest. When Cain later learns that Monty’s tumours are inoperable, he’s inconsolable.

Also, Kev unsettles Lewis with his attempt to make up for all of the missed years with gifts.

Cain is left in a bad way

Cain is incandescent to realise that Kyle has invited Graham on their camping trip. Tensions between the adults escalate until Cain loses his rag, leading Kyle to tell his dad off. As Cain storms away, he falls down a hillside, trapping his leg, just as night begins to fall.

As Kev continues his heavy attempts to bond with Lewis, Ross notices how stressed Lewis is becoming under the pressure of Kev’s determination.

Concurrently, Dawn is overjoyed to have found her wedding dress.

Kev is left than chuffed to see Steve

Kev is wracked with stress when his old friend Steve (Jason Done) arrives in the village and he gives him a loaded warning not to jeopardise the new life he’s created for himself.

It’s becoming clearer that Dawn can’t tolerate Billy dating Gabby and the stress it’s causing her is evident.

Also, when Billy cooks Gabby a meal, she’s forced to get creative and distract him so she doesn’t have to eat it.
