Coming up in the village, Charity takes a stand against her abuser, Dr Caitlin Todd, but someone walks in on their damning conversation.

Meanwhile, Billy and Dawn come up with a plan behind Joe’s back, while Kev has a decision to make as he spends valuable time with Lewis.

1. Charity confronts Dr Todd

Feeling empowered, Charity confronts Todd at Jacob’s Fold. But when Charity orders the woman to leave, Todd refuses, threatening legal action and attempting to goad Charity.

Charity demands that Todd confess to raping her, but vile Todd counters that she’ll tell Sarah the truth about baby Leyla’s parentage.

2. A mystery witness overhears the truth about Todd

As things escalate, Charity brands Todd a rapist. But as someone quietly enters the cottage, they overhear the shocking truth about Charity’s ordeal.

Who has uncovered Todd’s crime? One thing’s for sure, her comeuppance is on the way, as she’s set to be murdered!

3. Billy has a proposition for Dawn

Billy doubles down on his accusation against Joe, telling Dawn he saw her fiancé attack him.

Dawn is in disbelief that Joe would traumatise the kids, but soon she’s devastated as she accepts Billy’s claims and blames herself. She feels trapped by the fact that she’s carrying Joe’s baby.

But when Billy reminds Dawn of her previous plan to leave, and suggests they run away as a family, she considers the practicalities of his offer.

4. Dawn plots behind Joe’s back

Billy answers DS Byrnes’s questions about his attack. Caleb, who hoped this would finally destroy Joe, is frustrated when Billy clears Joe’s name with the police.

But Billy tells Caleb that he’s only cleared Joe to make him complacent, so that he and Dawn can make their escape without suspicion.

As Billy asks for Caleb’s help, Dawn invites Billy to stay at Home Farm, telling him it’s Joe’s stag do this week and that this will be the perfect chance to get away.

With Emmerdale teasing a tragedy on the day of Dawn and Joe’s wedding, though, it’s clear there are plenty of twists still to come.

5. Ruby has a request for Kev

When Ruby catches up with Kev, she asks him to rob the delivery for Jimmy’s new haulage contract.

Kev turns Ruby down, thwarting her scheme. But what is Ruby’s gameplan?

6. Lewis makes an announcement as he and Kev bond

Kev is thrilled that Lewis wants to meet up, but he knows he has a lot to hide. Lewis reveals that he can’t ride a bike, and is delighted when Kev offers to teach him.

But secretly, we see Kev looking worried by the idea, and when he later tries to show Lewis how to ride a bike, it’s clear that Kev doesn’t know how to either.

Kev crashes the bike, but as he lies on the ground, he’s thrilled when Lewis lies next to him, creating a sweet bonding moment for the father and son.

As Kev and Lewis stare up at the clouds, Lewis surprises Kev with an announcement. What does he have to say?

7. Dylan reaches out to help

It’s been a quiet time for Dylan and April as they recover from their ordeal at the hands of Ray and Celia. But next week, Dylan admits to his girlfriend that he’s struggling to move on.

April urges Dylan to consider counselling, and when Bear encourages him to do the same, Dylan is grateful for the support.
