In tonight’s episode of Emmerdale, Sarah and Charity have some big decisions to make following the shocking outcome of their showdown with Dr Todd.
As another villager unexpectedly gets embroiled in the drama, will they be able to help Sarah and Charity work their way through this terrifying situation?

1. Sarah deals with alarming news
Sarah desperately clings to the hope that Dr Todd can be revived after the horrifying accident at Charity’s cottage.
It’s left to Charity to break the news that Dr Todd is already dead – and now they’ll have to pick up the pieces.
2. Serena stumbles across the scene
Aware that Dr Todd has been causing trouble for Charity again, concerned Serena pops in by chance and is stunned to spot the malicious medic’s dead body.
Proving to be a useful ally once she knows what’s happened, Serena draws on her history with the police to coach Sarah and Charity on how best to handle the situation.
Serena suggests reporting Dr Todd’s death to the police but sticking closely to the story that Sarah lashed out in self-defence.
3. Charity has her own idea
Aware that any delay in reporting Dr Todd’s demise will look suspicious, Sarah and Charity only have a short amount of time to get their story straight.
Charity suggests a second option – she should take the blame for what happened to keep Sarah out of trouble. Charity points out that Sarah needs to be around for baby Leyla, but will Sarah let her gran sacrifice herself like this?
4. Sarah has a big question
Amid the escalating tensions, Sarah questions why Dr Todd ended up at odds with Charity in the first place.
Unable to share the baby Leyla secret, Charity desperately hopes that she can keep it under wraps.
5. A special episode unfolds
The episode unfolds with Charity, Sarah and Serena as the only regular characters who appear.
Can the trio agree on a way forward? And can Serena manage to keep her name out of it?
