TAYLOR Frankie Paul broke down in tears over her ex, Dakota Mortensen’s “obsessive” behavior in Mormon Wives Season 5 promo.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives just dropped its first promo for season 5 and finally announced when it hit screens.
In the promo, the season premiere date of September 10th flashes across the screen.
The clip, which runs just over a minute, begins with Mayci Neeley speaking to producers in a confessional “There’s so much stuff the public doesn’t know.”
It then cuts to Taylor in her home with fellow MomTokers Mayci and Mikayla Matthews, while she is on FaceTime with Dakota.
She asks her ex “Why did you get my initials tattooed on your lips? It’s giving obsessed.”
Dakota, who had just flashed his new lip ink responds, “I am obsessed.”
It then flashes back to Mayci in her confessional saying “This whole thing has spiralled.”
Then, it cuts to fellow star Jessi Draper, leaning into a room and saying “Its like Romeo and Juliet in the TikTok age,” in an apparent reference to the volatile pair, who now both hold mutual restraining orders against each other for the next 3 years.
It appears season 5 will showcase all the drama in the lead up to Taylor’s Bachelorette season being pulled.
Taylor’s season of the ABC dating show was set to air when a disturbing video was released of a domestic violence incident between her and Dakota that took place back in 2023, and for which she was arrested, charged and convicted on.
More information and further allegations of domestic violence were levelled against both Taylor and Dakota in the coming weeks.
ABC has yet to officially make any commitments to ever airing Taylor’s season.
Also highlighted in the season trailer, which is set to run for only 5 episodes, is Miranda McWhorter’s tension with her estranged husband Chase, as well as Jessi Draper’s faltering relationship with husband Jordan Ngatikaura.
