Tom King shocker for Cain and Kim left shaken as Emmerdale spoilers reveal what happens next

More shocks confirmed tomorrow

The looming presence of Tom King (James Chase) has left Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) on edge in Emmerdale, fearing that her abusive ex-husband will make a return upon his release from prison.

The events planner learned earlier this week that Tom, who was jailed for the nightmare abuse he inflicted on Belle during their marriage, is set to be released soon.

The prospect of seeing him again left her terrified and thus she contemplated paying him a visit – in the hopes of taking back control. Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) was on hand to offer support and a friendly ear, recalling her own ordeal with rapist Pierce Harris.

Belle was grateful for Rhona’s help and thus resolved to move forward with her life, leaving Tom firmly in the past.

Rhona, however, was quick to warn Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) to be on guard as there’s no guarantee that evil Tom will stay away.

Elsewhere, Kim Tate (Claire King) told Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) about Graham (Andrew Scarborough) looking after baby Tate while unsuspecting DS Thea Ramsden (Chelsea Edge) vowed to take Kim down once and for all, using her theory about baby Tate being sold in order to do so.

What happens next in Emmerdale? Spoilers for Wednesday, October 21 episode

The next episode will inevitably deal with the aftermath of tonight’s cliffhangers but will Rhona’s words of warning play on Cain’s mind regarding Tom?

And will Tom turn up in the village? If so, how will Belle react?

Elsewhere, Kim is taken aback when she receives a visit from social services, who have been told of an illegal adoption – and thus want proof that the child is okay.

It’s clear that, despite Serena Sugden’s (Casey Al-Shaqsy) advice, Ramsden is hellbent on her revenge.

Elsewhere in the village, Sam Dingle (James Hooton) is determined to find Samson (Sam Hall) work upon his release while Liam Cavanagh’s (Jonny McPherson) behaviour leaves Chas (Lucy Pargeter) suspicious.

Just what is he up to?

Sadie strikes again

Over at Mill Cottage, Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) enacts the next phase of her plan following rejection from Caleb (William Ash) as she makes a note of his plans with Ruby (Beth Cordingly) – and soon commences Operation Sabotage Dinner.
