The staggering moment Joe Tate discovers Vinny’s role in Dawn’s death in new Emmerdale spoiler video
Vinny's confession sparks fury from Joe at Home Farm

Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) in Emmerdale has shown us all that being on your phone while driving is a risk that really isn’t worth taking.
Last month, Vinny was in his car video calling Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham). Focused on comforting her after learning that Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) had ended their relationship, Vinny failed to realise his car was moving onto the other side of the road.
Approaching Vinny’s car was Jimmy King (Nick Miles).
Jimmy was forced to swerve his car to avoid hitting Vinny, causing him to crash into Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) and Dawn Taylor’s (Olivia Bromley) wedding marquee.
The incident led to Jimmy and Dawn’s deaths. In the initial aftermath, it looked as though Gabby was responsible for causing the crash, but we quickly learnt that she was acting shifty because she was worrying about Vinny being responsible.
Let’s be real here, there was no way Vinny would’ve been able to keep this secret to himself forever. He’s already confessed the truth to Gabby and Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill) and next week, poor Vinny tries to relieve himself of his burden by telling the two people impacted the most by Jimmy and Dawn’s deaths.

In the café, a guilty Vinny finds Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) and reveals that he is the reason Jimmy and Dawn are dead.
Nicola is stunned to hear that Vinny caused the accident because he was using his phone. In the pub, she then manipulates Gabby into speaking about Dawn. A paranoid Gabby stumbles over her words, leading to Nicola revealing to everyone in the pub that Vinny caused the accident while on the phone to Gabby.
Meanwhile, Vinny arrives at Home Farm. Fearing for his life, Vinny takes a breath, and then tells Joe the truth about the crash.
Processing the news, Joe reacts with a menacing and intense silence that leaves everyone fearing for Vinny’s safety.

And they’ve got every right to worry.
Star Bradley Johnson has revealed that Joe very quickly gets to work on even more revenge.
‘Obviously we see him go to Joe. In his head he’s thinking that this is going to be a lot worse than what happened with Nicola. Then we see Joe being Joe’, he said.
‘He goes ‘I want to smash his face in. But ultimately I don’t want to be the one to blame’. So he riles Billy up and tells Billy and ultimately we see Billy beat Vinny up.
‘He expects at least one of them to beat him up. He’s had his fair share of being beaten up. It’s awful, he’s massively guilt ridden. But ultimately he’s doing the right thing.’
