Who took Baby Tate ‘confirmed’ amid dark twist as Emmerdale spoilers reveal what happens next

The dark outcome of a shocking situation

There was panic aplenty up at Home Farm in Emmerdale as Baby Tate was taken from the cottage behind Graham Foster’s (Andrew Scarborough) back.

The baby, as viewers know, was placed in the care of Graham by Kim (Claire King), who felt Joe (Ned Porteous) would regret giving his son up for adoption.

Unbeknown to Joe, Graham has been looking after the little one at a holiday cottage nearby.

DS Thea Ramsen (Chelsea Edge), meanwhile, has been plotting revenge against long-lost mum Kim, believing that she’s keeping the baby at the cottage simply until she has someone lined up to buy him.

In tonight’s visit to the soap, the baby was snatched – just days after Ramsden learned the location of the cottage. Graham informed Kim of the theft. Kim went to Ramsden for help, hoping she could trust her to keep the police out of it.

As Kim headed to get some shut eye after a traumatic day, a hooded figure loomed in Home Farm. Is it Ramsden? And has she taken Baby Tate?

Elsewhere, Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) explained to Chas (Lucy Pargeter) that he wasn’t cheating with Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) – they were at a murder mystery convention together.

Chas was hurt when Liam explained that she isn’t particularly good at them and thus he didn’t invite her, leaving her with food for thought, while Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) continued to manipulate Ruby and Caleb (Beth Cordingly and William Ash)

What happens next in Emmerdale? Spoilers for Monday, October 26 episode

The following episode will deal with the fallout of tonight’s cliffhangers. The question is: just who is lurking around Home Farm? And is Kim in serious danger?

Later, the blackmailer gets in touch and demands a ransom from the Tates in exchange for the baby. Will they pay up? Graham, meanwhile, returns to the cottage.

Is Thea behind all of this? And will she reveal her true identity to Kim?

Liam finds himself in a deadly situation

Elsewhere, Chas throws a surprise murder mystery day for Liam to prove that she’s good at them.

Liam, however, isn’t all that enthusiastic about the whole thing. Later, the doc is tied up by new face Dave, believing it’s all part of the game – but little does he know that it’s not. Dave is looking for Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) – and he’s fed up of waiting!

Will Liam get out of this?

Paddy stumbles upon Mary’s body – but is all as it seems?

Meanwhile, at the vets, Paddy (Dominic Brunt) stumbles upon a dead body – but is all as it seems?

Over at Mill Cottage, Sadie turns her attention to Ruby, attempting to manipulate her into thinking that Caleb is controlling her. She also encourages Ruby’s drinking as a way of causing trouble – which works as Ruby defiantly drinks wine in front of Caleb to defy his alleged control.

Will the Miligans realise what Sadie is up to before it’s too late?
