Shock murder twist amid abuse reveal as Coronation Street spoilers reveal what happens next
Discoveries were made

Lucy Parkinson (Anya Dewin) finally found out the truth about Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) in Coronation Street this evening, as Christina made a shocking discovery of her own.
Christina has been hiding the fact that she is Lucy’s biological grandmother, but tonight, a major misstep saw Lucy uncover the truth.
Having had daughter Rachel adopted at just a few months old, Christina was stunned to learn of her murder and the fact that she’d had a daughter. Christina has been keeping a photo of her late daughter in a keyring, which she clumsily dropped for Lucy to find.
The mistake happened after Christina made a devastating discovery while watching a video on Lucy’s phone.
She later told George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) that she’d seen Rachel’s husband Richie whisper something in Rachel’s ear in the back of the clip and had watched Rachel’s face drop.
Heartbreakingly, she explained that it reminded her of Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) during his ordeal with Theo Silverton. She then confessed that there was no doubt in her mind that Richie was guilty of Rachel’s murder.

What happens next in Coronation Street? Spoilers for Monday, November 2 revealed
Come Monday, Christina continues to worry about what happened to Rachel, convinced that Richie is guilty of her murder, but George advises her to let the police investigate.
She’s not prepared to just sit on her hands though, and later Christina shows George a letter she’s written to Richie requesting to visit him, hoping she’ll be able to suss out what kind of a man he really is.
Elsewhere, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) is thrilled when the Gazette agrees to publish his article. When he shares the good news with his family, Ken (William Roache) is delighted, while Adam (Sam Robertson) and Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) mask their guilt.

Meanwhile, Idris (Junade Khan) hears Carla Connor-Swain (Alison King) talking to Lisa (Vicky Myers) about an important meeting at the hotel. Carla and Michael Bailey (Ryan Russel) are pleased with how the meeting is going, but when the client excuses himself, Idris spots an opportunity. What is he up to?
Also, Marco Rhodes (William Teasdale) plays down a gash on his arm, but Gary Windass (Mikey North) is suspicious.
Later, when Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) arrives for a visit, she is told that Marco is refusing to leave his cell. Gary begins to fear Marco is being bullied, but Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) begs him not to get involved.
Back on the cobbles, Summer finds Ross Wilkes (Ian Burfield) in the Rovers and is grateful when he says he will keep an eye on Marco. Ross tells Marco he’s put his name down for a cleaning job to keep him occupied. Later, Ross finds Marco alone in his cell. What does he want?
