Jack Branning has a murderous plan
Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) is on the warpath in EastEnders after Amy Mitchell’s (Ellie Dadd) sudden disappearance with predator Craig Ingram (Matthew James Bailey).
Yesterday, Amy and Craig made a quick getaway after convincing Max Branning (Jake Wood) to sign the necessary paperwork to give Amy access to her trust fund.
Convincing Max involved coming clean about their relationship, which Max later revealed to Jack.
In tonight’s episode, Jack called in reinforcements from the police to help in the search for Amy, while trying to keep her disappearance a secret from Denise Fox (Diane Parish).
However, getting Amy home safely wasn’t his only concern.
He made it clear to Max that if Craig ended up behind bars, he would still have a hold over Amy and she’d spend years pining for him.
In a dark twist, Jack asserted that the only way to help Amy would be to get rid of Craig for good.

Despite the family’s best efforts to keep her in the dark, Denise senses that something is wrong. While Max continues searching for Amy, Darnell decides to tell Denise that Amy is missing, forcing Jack to come clean.
Meanwhile, Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) opens up to Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) about Zoe’s funeral and the person she believes left her daughter to die, leaving Cindy guilt-ridden. Back on the Square, the Slaters prepare for the funeral.
Kat eventually arrives for Zoe’s funeral and not wanting to delay things further, she demands proceedings continue. In an intimate ceremony, Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) and Josh Goodwin (Joshua Vaughan) deliver their eulogy before Kat pays tribute to her daughter.
At The Vic, residents share memories of Zoe as Max arrives, looking for Lee Carter (Danny Hatchard). Cindy lashes out at Max and, as they argue, Lee arrives.
Elsewhere, in spite of Kojo Asare’s (Dayo Koleosho) dislike for Jodie Hawkins (Anna Constable), the pair begin to grow closer as preparations for Halloween continue.
