1. Eddie Knight reveals he is dying

Having returned from the hospital, Nicola and George walk into a surprise welcome home party for their baby.
Unfortunately, Nicola is overwhelmed by the gathering, resulting in her ordering everyone out of the house.
In the aftermath, Gina shares an emotional heart-to-heart with Nicola. Finally at ease, Nicola feels affection towards George as she watches him dote on their little one.
But the peace doesn’t last for long, as Nicola notices that George has missed a flurry of calls, which she assumes to be from the hospital. However, the mum-of-three soon realises the true identity of the caller: Eddie Knight.
Nicola heads to the hospital to visit Eddie, who reveals that he doesn’t have long to live.
Will Nicola relay the news to George?
2. Grant turns Phil down

Trying to cope with life after Nigel, Phil asks Grant to spend the day with him. However, Grant is still hurt by Mark’s rejection of him, so decides to keep his distance.
Meanwhile, Julie readies herself to collect Nigel’s possessions from the care home, but decides against telling Phil in case it upsets him.
Subsequently, Kat bumps into an emotional Julie at the Minute Mart. There, Julie opens up to Kat, who makes a beeline for No.55 to have a word with Sam and Phil.
The siblings show up to support Julie at the care home, where she discovers a letter from Nigel.
When Julie feels unable to open it, can Sam and Phil convince her otherwise?
3. Ian resorts to bribery

Still focused on his election campaign, Ian is unhappy that the majority of supporters are planning on voting for Elaine. Desperate, Ian tries to bribe Harvey, Howie and Mo, but the trio send him packing.
It seems as though Ian’s chances of being elected are at an all-time low, until Bea suggests that he should release a smear campaign video about Elaine.
At first, Ian isn’t taken by the idea, but will he change his mind?
4. George visits Eddie

When George starts asking questions, Nicola lies about her whereabouts. However, when George discovers a parking ticket for the hospital, the mum-of-three is forced to tell the truth.
George then heads to the hospital, where he is taken aback by how fragile his dad is.
News of the visit eventually reaches Gina and Kojo, who are shocked by George’s decision to face Eddie.
5. Harry makes a risky move

To help with the Knight Fusion accounts, Harry agrees to lend Gina money from Harry’s Barn.
Elsewhere, Kat and Alfie are unhappy to hear that their regular customers are drinking at the allotments rather than at the pub. This escalates to Kat and Alfie having a pop at Howie and Harvey over their new drinking habit.
Will Howie and Harvey change their ways?
6. Ian acts on impulse

As Ian and Elaine try to settle their nerves ahead of the Walford debate, Oscar secretly swaps Ian’s speech. This causes things to go awry for Ian, prompting Elaine to try and calm him down.
At Jimmy’s birthday party, Ian remains furious at the sabotage attempt. In fact, Ian becomes so worked up that he gives Bea permission to post the smear video about Elaine.
The clip soon gains traction online, which results in gossip about Elaine flying around Walford.
Oblivious, Elaine visits Ian at Beale’s Eels to wish him well for the rest of the campaign. Guilty Ian desperately asks Bea to take the video down, but he’s too late as Elaine has already been brought up-to-date by Cindy.
When Elaine turns up to confront Ian, what will she have to say?
7. Linda sells up

While feeling jealous of Max and Cindy, Linda receives encouragement from Grant to pamper herself.
The next day, Grant gives Linda something to ponder over, after Elaine reveals that Johnny is dealing with money problems.
As Linda informs Denise that she’s selling her share of Fox & Hair, has she made the right choice?
8. Nicola issues a harsh warning

Having been questioned by his family, George visits Eddie one last time.
Elsewhere, Nicola is surprised to hear that Harry’s Barn is in debt. After being confronted, Gina and Harry come clean, leading Harry to plead with his mum not to sell the bar.
With that exchange over, Nicola takes a trip to the hospital to tell Eddie to keep away from her family.
9. Johnny is confronted by Grant

To try and put things right, Linda offers Johnny the cash from her share of Fox & Hair. However, Johnny rejects his mum’s act of kindness, demanding that she stay out of his business.
Grant is on hand to try and raise Linda’s spirits, but the mum-of-five ends up snapping at him instead. The Mitchell man then heads to the café, where he fires some home truths at Johnny.
Will Johnny see the error of his ways?
10. Bea bats for Ian

On the day of the election, Bea tries her best to reel in last-minute votes for Ian.
Ian’s priority, though, is trying to reverse the smear campaign that took aim at Elaine. Given the significance of the day, Ian and Elaine try to be cordial, but it’s obvious that Elaine is upset by her rival’s behaviour.
11. Max takes a step forward with Cindy

With their romance now public, Max and Cindy live it up at their joint birthday bash at Harry’s Barn. Although, during the party, Max discovers that Linda recently slept with someone, causing tension between the former lovebirds.
Out of jealousy, Max asks Cindy to move in with him, which she agrees to do.
Elsewhere, Nicola makes an effort to support George.
12. Denise causes concern

After finding Denise asleep at work, Sam offers her support, then checks in with the salon owner the next day.
Denise confirms to Sam that she’s booked a doctor’s appointment to talk about her tiredness, before the conversation topic changes to Denise’s business.
As Sam suggests that Jack should invest in Fox & Hair, will Denise see a new opportunity on the horizon?
