Anthony Albanese has delivered a surprise roast to panel guests during an appearance on The Hundred on Channel 9, opening up about his “everything is fine face” and his past DJ work.
Appearing on The Hundred for the season nine premiere, “Albo” reminisced about his DJ days where he went by the name ‘DJ Albo’.
“I haven’t done it for a while because I’m busy with other things,” Mr Albanese said.
“I used to do it a fair bit for fundraisers for a charity called Reclink.”
“For some reason people sing along to parts of that,” he joked.
98 per cent of participants on the show recognised the PM and he quickly quipped: “Who are the two people who are leaving Australia at this point in time?”

The program, hosted by comedian Andy Lee, brings together 100 everyday Australians who beam into the studio from across the country via Zoom.
TV Blackbox reports regular panellists Mike Goldstein and Sophie Monk will return for the show’s ninth season.
The comedic line-up will include the likes of Joel Creasey, Kate Langbroek, Pete Helliar, Denise Scott, Hamish Blake, Glenn Robbins and Dave Hughes.
“In the premiere episode, on The Hundred, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese enters the hot seat to test if the nation can actually recognise their leader,” TV Blackbox reports.
“His appearance sets the stage for a parade of high-profilers throughout the season, including Cody Simpson, Janine Allis, Max Gawn and Samuel Johnson,”

During his appearance, Mr Albanese also showcased his “everything is fine face” — a face he claimed to make when he meets a politician he doesn’t see eye-to-eye with.
Host Andy Lee played the part of politician and Albo gracefully shook his hand with a wide grin on his face, earning laughter from the audience.
