EastEnders

All EastEnders spoilers for next week as a wedding day is destroyed

A painful week for many

A soap wedding without utter chaos isn’t a soap wedding worth having, is it? Luckily, Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) and Vicki Fowler’s (Alice Haig) wedding next week in EastEnders looks set to bring plenty of trouble.

With Zack Hudson (James Farrar) completely unable to let Vicki go, he sets about trying to destroy the wedding before the vows have even begun. Although Vicki does make it down the aisle, Ross finally realises the truth and asks Vicki if Zack is the man she slept with. Will Vicki admit all?

Elsewhere, Phil, Grant and Sam (Steve McFadden, Ross Kemp and Kim Medcalf) rally to save Mark Fowler Jr’s (Stephen Aaron-Sipple) skin when Max Branning (Jake Wood) and Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) call in the police. Can they cover for him and get out of dodge before one – or all – of them end up in a cell?

Meanwhile, Denise Fox’s (Diane Parish) life is changed forever when she’s formally diagnosed with blood cancer.

Elsewhere, Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) returns home to Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy), Eddie Knight’s (Christopher Fairbank) comments about Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) enrage Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) and Billy and Honey (Perry Fenwick and Emma Barton) worry about the pressure on their son, Will (Freddie Phillips).

You’re ready for some real spoilers, you say? Let’s go!

Gina is in no rush to converse with Eddie

George Knight (Colin Salmon) is heartened to see Gina at Knight Fusion after she rejected his previous invitation, but she explains she’s there because Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) needs his help with Ivy. As George hotfoots it home, Gina ignores Eddie’s attempts to reconnect.

While Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) takes delivery of a car, Cindy catches Max trying to use the keys he found at No.55, and he tells her of his suspicions, but they’re soon confronted by Phil, Grant and Sam. At the car lot relaunch, Max and Cindy publicly accuse Mark, but jaws drop when Grant takes full responsibility.

Meanwhile, as preparations are made at the Vic for Vicki and Ross’ wedding, she ponders on selling her dad’s ring in order to be able to afford a honeymoon, which Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) questions, while Zack is troubled by a phone call and Will is forced to postpone his rave plans to take Janet (Grace) to see Honey at the hospital.

Max and Cindy confront the Mitchells

Max threatens to call the police after Grant’s admission, though Cindy is adamant he’s covering for Mark. As police officers head to No.3, Lauren tips off the Mitchell’s, who plot their escape, with Sam suggesting she join Grant in Portugal. As the police – under the direction of Max and Cindy -approach No.55, Sam and Phil wait for Grant anxiously in the car.

Zack gifts Vicki a bracelet, requesting she wear it at the wedding as a sign that he still matters to her, but he’s wounded when she refuses. When Ross finds him later, Zack drops heavy hints that Vicki may still be cheating on him.

Elsewhere, Harry’s temper flares when Eddie criticises Gina, Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) and Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) agree to be friends and Will is miffed to arrive home from the hospital too late for the rave.

Ross is deeply unsettled on the morning of the wedding

Zack goes at both the bride and groom, questioning Ross on whether he should go through with it, while imploring Vicki not to marry the wrong man. At the venue, Ross’ head is swimming with Zack’s words and as the ceremony begins, he asks Vicki if Zack is the man she slept with.

Priya misses a letter from Ravi, and is shocked to return home and find him there, waiting for her. He lavishes her with apologies, and Priya is warmed to think there’s a chance they can rebuild their relationship.

Also, Denise is wracked with anxiety when the hospital summon her for a bone marrow test and heads to her appointment alone, while Billy and Honey worry about Will’s mood, and reassure him that he doesn’t have to face his responsibilities alone.
