EastEnders’ Gina to be targeted by evil Eddie in cruel scenes
Eddie criticises Gina after she freezes him out…

EastEnders villain Eddie Knight spits his venom at his granddaughter Gina next week, when he makes cruel remarks about her.
At the start of the week, George takes Eddie to Knight Fusion for a meal. However, he’s delighted when his daughter Gina arrives at the restaurant, after she previously declined her dad’s offer to dine out with her adoptive grandad…
“George is trying to make the best of having killer Eddie living with his family, but so far, Gina hasn’t been receptive,” our EastEnders insider reminds us.
“When deluded George sees Gina enter the restaurant, he’s elated to think that she’s changed her mind and wants to bond with Eddie, but he soon realises he’s sorely mistaken.”
George’s joy is short-lived as it transpires that Gina is only there to summon him home because Nicola Mitchell is panicking about daughter Ivy.
As George rushes off to help Nicola with their baby, Gina is left all alone with perilous pensioner Eddie…
“Eddie tries to chat to Gina once George has gone, but she isn’t having a bar of it,” continues our spy. “She totally ignores his attempts to converse and takes him back home in stony silence.
“Gina’s strength lies in the fact that she can hold her own – even a bigoted murderer doesn’t faze her.”
Later, hot-headed Harry Mitchell becomes protective of his girlfriend Gina when Eddie makes pointed jibes and criticises her to her face.
Will George finally listen to Gina’s reservations about having Eddie stay? Or is Eddie’s reign of terror in the Knight household only just beginning?
Christopher Fairbank’s return to the role of Eddie was first revealed last month, when show bosses confirmed that he’d be back on our screens for a short stint.
Eddie has come back to live with George following the news that he’s terminally ill. He forced his way in by bribing a cash-strapped Nicola, promising her money if she persuaded George to let him stay.
Unaware of the financial motivation, George has relented over the idea – facing understandable opposition from Gina along the way.
