Meanwhile, newcomer Serena Sugden continues to be a loyal ally to Charity Dingle following her recent ordeal.

1. Mack and Dr Todd go head-to-head
After paying a surprise visit to Dr Todd’s new workplace, Mack confronts her over her sickening behaviour towards Charity.
Todd tries to manipulate Mack as she cruelly paints Charity as the villain, then ‘exposes’ the truth about baby Leyla’s true parentage. Will Dr Todd finally be wrong-footed when she finds out that Mack already knows all about it?
2. Charity regrets upsetting Ryan
In The Woolpack, Charity has another heart-to-heart with her new friend Serena.
The pub landlady has received an upsetting text from Ryan, who’s cutting her off after her recent nasty comments towards him. Already regretting her outburst, Charity explains to Serena why she’s giving Ryan such a hard time.
3. Dr Todd’s lies continue
Todd switches tactics in her attempts to manipulate Mack, falsely claiming that she had a consensual encounter with Charity.
As Todd brazenly recounts her false story, it gives her time to press the secret alert button in her hospital room to contact security. Is Mack in trouble?
4. Charity vows to fight
As her chat with Serena continues, Charity expresses doubts that she’ll ever see justice served in her case against Dr Todd.
With warm encouragement from Serena, though, Charity promises to fight on in the hope of a positive outcome.
5. Dr Todd’s fate is finally revealed
While we’ll have to wait to see how it all plays out, the latest episode ends with a dramatic flashforward scene showing a crime scene and Dr Todd’s dead body!
