Next week on Coronation Street, Abi is horrified as her young son Alfie is rushed to hospital – and newcomer Idris gets the blame.

Meanwhile, the residents try to move on from Megan’s crimes, and Tyrone gets a shock as his biological dad arrives in town!

1. Megan’s fate is revealed

Following the drama surrounding Megan’s trial, Ben receives a call to let him know that the verdict is finally in.

In court, the jury reveal their decision. Is Megan finally being sent down for grooming Will?

2. Idris makes an apology

Idris sends Leanne a bouquet of flowers, wanting to apologise after secretly switching her phone to silent mode when they were together at the Chariot Square Hotel.

He later apologises in person, but will she forgive him?

3. Sam says sorry to Nick

Sam also has an apology to make and sorts things out with Nick.

The troubled teen accepts that Nick only wanted what was best for him when he lied about Megan’s trial – and agrees that he’s in the best place for now.

4. Abi makes a discovery about her landlord

Abi vents to Leanne about her landlord, explaining that she has damp in her flat but the mystery man never returns her calls. To make matters worse, she doesn’t even know who he is.

All becomes clear to Abi when she makes another call at the Bistro and notices Idris’s phone ringing nearby. But with black mould spreading behind her son Alfie’s bed, has the damage already been done?

5. Alfie is rushed to hospital

Abi panics when she realises that Alfie is struggling to breathe. She calls Kevin, who agrees to drive the young boy to A&E. Idris worries when he watches the panicked scene from afar.

At the hospital, doctors insist on keeping Alfie in ICU overnight and confirm that his problems are a direct result of the mould in his bedroom.

6. Idris faces the music

Idris goes to see Abi at the hospital – aware that he’s likely to face a backlash over the state of the flat.

Leanne points out that the flat’s previous owner must have known about the mould, so Idris may not be entirely to blame. Idris seems to agree, as it’s not long before Abi spots him and Brody bundling a mystery man into a car! Sally quickly becomes worried that Idris is a bad influence on Brody.

7. Abi moves back in with Kevin

Abi is relieved when Alfie is discharged from hospital. As it’s no longer safe to keep living at the flat, she arranges for them both to move back in with Kevin.

Idris and Brody promise to sort out the damp, but Abi insists that it isn’t enough and she’ll be taking Idris to court.

8. Idris becomes wary of Kit

Brody takes the opportunity to introduce Kit to Idris at the Rovers, explaining that the Weatherfield newcomer is now his boss.

Idris isn’t pleased to hear that Brody’s dad is a police detective – could this make life more difficult for him in the long run?

9. Adam becomes embroiled in Abi’s battle

Abi and Sally meet up with Adam at the Rovers, wanting to discuss a potential legal case against Idris.

They urge Adam to take on the job – will he agree?

10. Will tries to tie up loose ends

Will is relieved when Hope confirms that their schoolmates are supporting him following Megan’s trial. He also makes amends with Daniel, with both now regretting how Megan played them off against each other.

Hope tells Will that she’ll be visiting Sam in the psychiatric hospital, but is Will ready to see him?

11. Cassie proposes

Cassie grows irritated by Tracy’s constant presence in her life and tells Steve that she’s fed up with his ex constantly trying to drive a wedge between them.

Tyrone tells Cassie that if she genuinely loves Steve, she’ll have to learn to live with Tracy. Realising that it’s time to make a commitment, Cassie surprises Steve by proposing to him in the cab office!

12. Cassie heads on a downward spiral

Cassie feels let down by Steve after the week’s events and things only get worse when she spots him in a cosy moment with old flame Tracy. She heads to the Chariot Square Hotel and makes a pass at a “stranger” called Ross… failing to recognise him from her past!

Steve is already looking for Cassie to make amends with her, but is she about to make a terrible mistake?

13. Tyrone and Cassie receive a shock

Cassie returns home to her family and is full of regret, especially when Steve suggests that they forget the dramas of the past few days.

Cassie joins Tyrone and his family for a special meal organised by Hope and Ruby, who have a surprise for their dad. It turns out that they’ve used a DNA website to track down his biological father – who turns out to be Ross, the man from the hotel!

14. Ross piles pressure on Cassie

Ross demands that Cassie helps him to build a relationship with Tyrone, but she points out that Tyrone is stubborn and unlikely to give him a chance.

Tracy gets along well with Ross – and it’s not long before Tyrone and Cassie join them on a table at Speed Daal.

15. Christina hides a secret

Christina turns down the chance to enjoy a romantic evening with George at the Bistro, making out that she has a cleaning job.

Later, Christina seems shaken when she receives a mysterious phone call…

16. Glenda and George discover the truth

Glenda worries that Christina is hiding something from George and looks through her handbag, which leads to a shocking discovery.

Later in the week, suspicious George follows Christina to the precinct and is baffled to spot her meeting up with a mystery man. He confronts her, so Christina finally explains just how much trouble she’s in…

17. Will gives up on his athletics dream

Will sticks by his decision to stop competing in athletics events as he can’t deal with the constant reminders of Megan.

How will his family react?

18. Maria reaches breaking point over Gary’s secrets

When Kit is taken off Theo’s murder case, it’s down to Lisa to take control of the case alongside her colleague McLaughlin. She visits Maria and asks her to go over her statement about the night of Theo’s death, but Maria sticks to her false story that she was with Gary.

Back home, Maria warns Gary that it’s time to tell her everything about what really happened that evening.

19. Lisa spots a suspicious sign

Lisa admits to Todd that the police have reached a stalemate in Theo’s murder case.

Todd doesn’t seem too concerned by this revelation, which leaves Lisa uneasy. Will she realise that he’s hiding something?

20. Betsy prepares to be parted from Dylan

Betsy insists on watching Dylan while he works at Speed Daal.

She insists that they need to spend every minute they can together, ahead of her planned move to London.
