EastEnders confirms next chapter of Denise Fox cancer story in new spoilers

Her family prepare to welcome her home, but she's struggling.

Eastenders has shared advanced spoilers for Denise Fox’s blood cancer storyline as the character is currently receiving treatment. The Fox-Trueman family have been devastated by Denise’s diagnosis while her daughter Chelsea is also struggling with the aftermath of Ian Beale’s running over her son Jordan with his car, with the boy suffering a serious spinal injury.

The BBC has published spoilers for EastEnders episodes airing in mid-July as the soap takes a break on Wednesday 15 July, when one of the World Cup semifinals is set to air.

There will be an additional episode on BBC One on Friday 17 July to ensure the soap’s four weekly episodes make the air as normal, with more potential World Cup schedule shake-ups being communicated closer to the date.

As for Denise, the character played by Diane Parish is set to finally return home after doing chemotherapy for her acute myeloid leukaemia, though she will struggle settling back into the family routine.

Meanwhile, Vicki and Ross Marshall are also back in Walford after their honeymoon but a setback awaits the newly married couple.

Monday 13 July – 7.30pm

Ian battles with a decision, Max makes an offer, and the Fox-Truemans prepare to welcome Denise home.

Tuesday 14 July – 7.30pm

Denise struggles to settle back into family life, it’s the day of Ian’s plea hearing, and Mark raises suspicions.

Thursday 16 July – 7.30pm (except Northern Ireland and Wales)

Denise lays the law down, Vicki and Ross return from their honeymoon, and Mark’s doubts start to grow.

Friday 17 July – 7.30pm (except Northern Ireland and Wales)

Mark puts Lauren to the test, Vicki and Ross face another stumbling block, and Gina attempts to right a wrong.
