A CORONATION Street actress revealed she is back ‘living in student halls’ – two years after last appearing on the soap.
After being introduced to the cobbles, her character became a love interest to a show regular.
Kimberly Hart-Simpson played Nicky Wheatley, an escort, who first appeared in June 2020.
Taking to her Instagram story, Kimberly, 39, shared she is living in student halls during her run at Edinburgh Fringe.
She wrote: “I am officially back living in student halls during Ed run.
“I don’t know who all my housemates are yet.
“But I hope they like me and we take it turns for changing the bin.”
Kimberly added: “Also pray I ain’t the biggest s**g when we inevitably play never have I ever.”
Her solo show, Amensia, runs at the iconic performing arts festival from August 5 up until August 31.
Meanwhile, the character Nicky first appeared on Coronation Street between June and September 2020.
Nicky became romantically involved with Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), after the death of his wife Sinead (Katie McGlynn).
She returned for a second stint from December 2021 to July 2022, followed by a third in 2024.
Earlier this year, Kimberly accidentally overdosed on her ADHD medication and suffered surprising side effects.
She later described the experience as “some bloody ride” after sparking concern with a post on social media.
Kimberly was diagnosed last year with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) – a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how a person focuses, controls impulses, and manages energy levels.
She takes prescribed medication to help control her condition.
