Emmerdale reveals double exit drama as Dawn and Billy make a desperate plan

Emmerdale‘s Dawn and Billy Fletcher plan to run away and start a new life together away from the village next week – with secret help from Caleb Miligan.

Despite being pregnant with Joe Tate’s baby, Dawn’s feelings for Billy have reignited. Now he’s convinced her that jealous Joe was behind his recent attack, she believes their only choice is to flee the village and get away from her wicked fiancé – but can they escape safely before she’s due to become Joe’s wife?

“Dawn knows Joe would either try to keep her in the village, or destroy her life,” explains our Emmerdale spy. “Joe has so much power and influence that leaving him won’t be easy, and Dawn’s tried and failed before.

“But if she can secure a happy ending with Billy, it’s worth the risk.”

While recovering in hospital, Billy persuades Dawn that it was definitely Joe who attacked him. Despite Dawn’s belief that Joe would never do something that would traumatise the kids, she’s finally convinced when Billy doubles down on his accusation.

Blaming herself for Billy’s plight, Dawn struggles to see a way out. However, Billy makes his feelings clear for Dawn, suggesting they run away together for a fresh start…

“Billy’s idea sets Dawn’s mind racing,” explains our insider. “She knows they’re going to have to come up with a clever plan to foil Joe and escape without consequence. But he’s a cunning man that can’t easily be outsmarted.”

When DS Byrne returns to question Billy about his attack, the worried dad suddenly changes his mind and clears Joe of any wrongdoing. His reversal frustrates Caleb, who saw this as the perfect opportunity to take Joe down and so he demands an explanation from Billy.

With his bid for freedom with Dawn already in motion, Billy explains to Caleb that clearing Joe’s name was a tactical move to make him complacent and keep his suspicions at bay.

Knowing how much Caleb can’t stand his nephew, Dawn and Billy ask Caleb for help with their escape. However, fans will have to tune in to see whether it really is the end for Dawn and Billy’s time in the village…

“Billy and Dawn plan to flee during Joe’s stag do,” reveals our spy. “Dawn invites an injured Billy to stay at Home Farm, keeping him close.

“But will they manage to protect their secret plot from Joe, Graham and Kim? Or will the Tates team up to ruin their plan for a happy ever after?”
