Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coming up on the cobbles, Sarah makes a big decision about Kit as life behind bars becomes increasingly tough, while young Harry struggles to cope without her.

Meanwhile, Tim is stunned by a harrowing find at the home of a relative, and Idris plays dirty to get what he wants as Fiz’s concerns over Ross reach new heights.

1. Sarah is targeted in prison

A tough-looking inmate glares daggers at Sarah, leaving her unnerved. When daughter Bethany visits later, she’s worried by the sight of Sarah’s badly bruised face.

Sarah plays it down, but is she in serious danger in prison?

2. Sally returns home to surprise guest Richie

Richie reads a text from his wife Rachel, and relays to Tim that he’s in the dog house for staying out all night. As Sally arrives home, Tim makes out he had a quiet evening of board games with the lads.

But when Richie returns with a holdall and explains that Rachel has thrown him out, a sheepish Tim introduces Sally to his cousin, and confesses they got drunk and Richie stayed the night.

Sally feels she has no choice but to let Richie stay longer.

3. Ollie’s left disappointed

Ollie runs some new Speed Daal menu ideas by Alya, but it’s clear she’s not keen.

While Ollie is deflated, Idris speaks to Alya about buying her share of the restaurant, letting her know his offer still stands.

4. Dylan causes a scene with Ronnie

Still shaken by his role in causing Betsy’s strokes, Dylan asks Alya if he can work his shift in Speed Daal’s kitchen. Alya refuses, telling him she needs him out front.

Ronnie is having lunch with Ed, Michael and James and shares his struggles caring for Debbie. But when Ronnie is short with Dylan as the teen takes their order, Dylan takes it personally and Alya is forced to intervene.

As Idris ushers an upset Dylan away, will Dylan take a step back and realise he’s not coping over recent events?

5. Idris tries to make amends with Abi

Idris recently avoided a court battle when Abi accepted his compensation pay out, after the mould-ridden flat he owns caused Abi’s young son Alfie to be hospitalised.

Next week, when Abi drops in at Speed Daal, Idris insists on paying for her takeaway. Will she take him up on the gesture?

6. Tim makes a horrific discovery

Sally tells Tim she wants Richie gone, and Richie assures Tim he can stay with a friend in Liverpool. In the cab, Tim advises Richie not to give up on his marriage and urges him to go home and talk to Rachel.

Later, Tim finds Richie’s wallet down the sofa and heads to his place to return it. But when a disoriented Richie answers the door, his shirt is covered in blood.

Tim looks inside the house and, horrified by what he finds, he calls the police!

7. Sarah breaks Kit’s heart

Sarah tells Kit that she loves him, and for that reason she’s ending their relationship.

She’s not prepared to let Kit throw away his police career because of her. But with Kit committed to Sarah and bringing up Harry as his own, will he be able to accept her decision?

8. Alya reveals her decision about Speed Daal

Adam points out that Alya has missed an important deadline, adding that it’s time she chose between her legal career and running the restaurant.

Alya realises her boyfriend is right, and she breaks the news to business partner Leanne that she’s going to sell her share of Speed Daal.

Alya explains that she’s decided to sell to an old family friend, but who is it, and how will Idris react?

9. Lisa brings shock news of Richie

Tim and Sally sit in shocked silence, having had a sleepless night.

Lisa calls round to inform them the police have charged Richie with the murder of his wife, and that he claims he acted in self-defence.

Lisa also explains that Richie’s daughter Lucy has been taken into care.

10. Jodie sets her sights on Kit

David visits Sarah, who tells him that she dumped Kit for his own good. Meanwhile, Kit is drowning his sorrows with vodka, and Jodie is intrigued as he declares that Sarah broke off their relationship.

But as she takes an interest, Kit gives Jodie short shrift and strides off. On the street, Jodie approaches Kit, commenting that there’s nothing worse than a broken heart.

As she offers to buy him a pizza, will Kit play right into manipulative Jodie’s hands?

11. Idris intercepts Alya’s buyer

Alya shows her potential buyer, Gavin, around Speed Daal, and Idris watches them like a hawk.

Gavin’s impressed with the restaurant, but as he heads out to his car, Idris approaches. Will he succeed in derailing the sale?

12. Sally and Tim’s new foster charge goes missing

Sally gets an update from social worker Ruth, and tells Tim and Brody that Lucy’s foster placement has fallen through and they’re having trouble finding another suitable family.

Without consulting Sally, Tim makes arrangements for Lucy to move in with them. Sally forces a smile when Lucy arrives, and Ruth explains that the youngster needs support amid her grief and trauma.

But when Sally later goes to fetch Lucy for tea, she’s horrified to discover her missing. Sally and Tim find Lucy at the bus stop, and manage to persuade her to come home.

13. Sarah’s imprisonment takes a toll on Harry

Kit and Bethany agree he should remain at the flat for Harry’s sake. Glenda offers to bring Harry to Little Big Shotz with her so that Bethany can go on her date.

When Kit explains that he’s signed Harry up for the whole week as he can’t look after him next week, a furious Harry throws his dinner on the floor.

Bethany is still on her date with Roman, so Kit’s on his own here. Can he get through to Harry?

14. Leanne receives a warning about Idris

Nick and Toyah warn Leanne that Idris is a thug, and they have it on good authority that he put the frighteners on Gavin, Alya’s potential buyer.

Will Leanne believe them, or will she back her new beau and come to regret it?

15. Hope’s discovery about Ross leaves Fiz suspicious

Ross tells Hope to help herself to a tenner from his wallet. But when Hope finds something else in there, it reignites Fiz’s suspicions. What have they found?

With Cassie last seen in Ross’s car and no one able to get hold of her, will Fiz be able to prove to Tyrone that Ross is not to be trusted?

16. Lily and Lucy come to blows

Tim and Sally are woken by a scream, and they find Lucy has suffered a terrible nightmare. When Tim claims Rachel would still be alive if Sally had let Richie stay, she is annoyed by his attempt to offload his own guilt.

Meanwhile, Lily finds Lucy alone in Victoria Garden, and when Lucy ignores her, Lily calls her a freak and tries to leave. Lucy grabs Lily’s arm, and Jodie intervenes in their scrap.

17. Sarah makes friends with a fellow inmate

Sarah confides in inmate Kacey how worried she is about Harry, and how grateful she is to her ex-partner for looking after her son. When Kacey lets slip that it’s common knowledge that her ex is a copper, Sarah’s shocked.

Kacey approaches Sarah who is hiding in her cell, and as she reveals another inmate threatened her, Kacey assures Sarah that she’ll protect her.

Bethany visits her mum and notices Kacey staring at them, and Sarah explains Kacey has become a friend and lifeline.

18. Idris makes a final play for Speed Daal

When Alya explains she’s got an urgent meeting with a client and can’t help with the lunchtime rush, Idris offers to step in.

Idris also offers Alya £35K in cash for her share of Speed Daal, and Alya promises to think about it. Will he get his way?
