1. Todd makes amends with Sarah

Todd returns from holiday and agrees to see Sarah after she sends him a visiting order from prison.

After previously vowing to cut ties with his best friend, Todd backs down and reassures Sarah that he’ll always be there for her.

2. Sarah receives an unexpected request

Sarah’s new prison acquaintance Kacey approaches her, lamenting that her son has been arrested for armed robbery. Kacey suggests that Sarah could have a word with Kit to get him out of trouble.

Kacey turns threatening when Sarah insists that there’s nothing she can do, especially since she and Kit are no longer a couple. Desperate Sarah phones Todd, telling him about the trouble she’s now in.

3. Kit is confronted over Harry

Harry causes trouble during a Little Big Shotz gathering, as he breaks Jake’s headphones after being teased about Sarah’s imprisonment.

Glenda is unable to reach Kit, so it’s left to Adam to return Harry to Bethany. Will Kit apologise when he eventually resurfaces?

4. There’s more bad news for Sarah

Kit visits Sarah after Todd tips him off that she’s struggling in jail. When Sarah explains her predicament, Kit insists that he can’t meddle with the case involving Kacey’s son. He also points out that Sarah ended their relationship in the first place because she wanted to prevent a conflict of interest.

With Kacey’s threats failing to get her anywhere, she ups the ante by turning violent.

5. A decision is made over Harry’s future

Sarah contacts Adam as she fears that Kit is spiralling and isn’t in a great position to be looking after Harry.

Adam and Bethany are soon on the same page and tell Kit that Harry should come to stay with Adam for the rest of the holidays. Kit feels undermined, but when even Gemma suggests it’s a good idea, will he agree?

6. Lily and Lucy get a chance to start again

After a bad start for Lily and Lucy, persistent Shona and Sally try to convince the girls to get along – confident that they could become good friends.

Lily gives Lucy a letter of apology and points out that they have plenty in common, including the loss of their mums. Sally reckons things are going well, but will Lily and Lucy really become pals?

7. Christina’s secret is exposed

Christina looks forward to joining George on a trip to Somerset, where she’ll get to meet George’s cousins.

However, Todd drives a wedge between the couple when he reveals that Christina has been on yet another spending spree. George declares that Christina can no longer join him.

8. Idris considers drastic measures

Alya warns Idris that she wants £50,000 for her share of Speed Daal, but he’s £15,000 short. Leanne hands over £5,000 to make up some of the shortfall.

Idris gets an idea of how to use the £5,000 when Ollie mentions that he used to be a formidable poker opponent. The businessman quickly organises a poker night and gets Ollie and Lauren on board to make it happen.

9. Ollie faces off against Fiona

Idris recruits Ollie to be a player in the poker night, explaining that he’ll provide him with the cash, the odds will be stacked in his favour and he’ll get a cut of the winnings if it all plays out as planned.

The game culminates in Ollie and Fiona being left as the final two players. Ollie emerges victorious, while Fiona is furious.

Later, Idris confronts Brody for stealing drinks during the event. Brody responds by letting slip Idris’s poker deception to Leanne, who’s livid to hear that her partner used £5,000 of her money for the rigged game!

10. The consequences continue for Idris

Idris tries to reason with Leanne, pointing out that the cash was never at risk because the game was rigged. Will this be enough to pacify her?

Meanwhile, Fiona is shocked when she visits Speed Daal and discovers that the chef is Ollie, her opponent from the game! Will she realise that she’s been duped?

11. Glenda deals with a surprise visitor

Newcomer Celeste knocks on the door at No.7, but Glenda and Todd explain that Dev and Bernie are away. Celeste later turns up at the undertakers instead, explaining that she wants to arrange a funeral.

All is revealed when Celeste tells Todd that she has six weeks to live – and the funeral is for herself! She arranges a Dolly Parton-themed service to go out in style.

Meanwhile, Glenda is smitten with Celeste’s driver Fraser and the pair arrange a date.

12. Todd’s friends confront him

Glenda, Mary and Christina raise concerns with Todd that he’s been drinking too much since returning from holiday. Glenda is also worried about Todd’s new-found bad attitude and warns him that he’ll lose his friends if he continues down this path.

Later, Celeste warns Todd that Fraser is gay, which doesn’t bode well for Glenda’s interest in him. Intrigued, Todd spots an opportunity to get revenge on Glenda after her earlier criticism.

13. Tim is pressured to lie for Richie

Tim goes to see Richie in prison but is startled when his cousin wants him to back up his claims of self-defence.

Tim refuses to lie on Richie’s behalf, even if the alternative is his relative receiving a long sentence. However, Richie soon twists the knife by pointing out that he never would have returned home to Rachel if it hadn’t been for Richie’s advice. Will Tim reconsider his stance?

14. Lucy struggles to settle in

Joanie and Shanice return home from Spain to a different dynamic now that Lucy is on the scene.

With Lucy unsettled, she panics when Tim accidentally drops a pan in the kitchen. Tim rushes after her, encouraging her to start seeing the Metcalfe house as a home where she can feel comfortable.

15. Will’s left disappointed by his exam results

On GCSE results day, Will tells his family that he only managed to get a couple of passes.

As Will kicks himself for failing the rest of the exams, Ben points out that his family are pleased he sat the exams at all given all of the problems he was facing at the time.

16. Nina discovers it may be time to leave

Nina returns from her trip to Whitby and informs Roy that her job interview didn’t go well.

Surprisingly, though, she soon receives a phone call to let her know that she’s secured the position.
