Who is Harry Platt’s dad in Coronation Street?

Poor Harry Platt (Joshua Leavy) is having a rough time in Coronation Street after mum Sarah Platt’s (Tina O’Brien) imprisonment.

The whole Platt family were stunned when Sarah was charged with the murder of Theo Silverton last month, and even more so when she actually confessed to the crime.

Sarah’s stay at His Majesty’s pleasure has caused huge upheaval for Harry, who has been living with sister Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) as his primary caretaker.

Despite his recent break up with Sarah, Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) agreed to continue living at the flat in order to provide Harry with some stability, though this hasn’t exactly been going to plan.

Who is Harry Platt’s dad in Coronation Street?

Harry is the son of Sarah Platt and Callum Logan (Sean Ward).

Callum appeared in 114 episodes between 2014 and 2015 as Kylie Platt’s drug-dealing ex-boyfriend and the biological father of Max Turner.

Callum wanted to gain custody of his son by any means necessary, and ended up starting a romantic relationship with Sarah as part of his wider plan.

During this time, Sarah fell pregnant with Harry.

When Max discovered a gun in Callum’s flat, Sarah ended things with him.

What happened to Callum Logan?

Callum was ultimately killed off in the 2015 live episode, with Kylie hitting him over the head with a wrench to save Sarah, who Callum was attacking.

Kylie and David hid his body beneath Gail Platt’s annex, but it was found eight months later after Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) crashed his truck into the annex, causing structural damage.

Six months after Callum’s death, Sarah gave birth to Harry.

What has Sarah said about Callum?

Callum isn’t spoken about often on the show these days, but Sarah did open up about Harry’s parentage to Dee-Dee Bailey, when she was facing her own pregnancy decision in 2024.

After falling pregnant by abuser Joel Deering, Dee-Dee confided in Sarah that she was worried she would see him every time she looked at her baby.

Explaining what she had been through with Callum, Sarah revealed that she barely thought about him, because she was so focused on how much she loved her son.
