Coronation Street villains are pictured together for first time since their real-life romance was revealed

CORONATION Street stars Beth Nixon and James Cartwright have been pictured together for the first time since their off-screen romance was confirmed.
The actors, known for playing two of the soap’s most hated villains, were snapped just days after The Sun revealed they were dating.

Beth, 25, plays paedophile teacher Megan Walsh in the hit soap, while James, 41 – 16 years her senior – played Todd Grimshaw’s abusive boyfriend Theo Silverton.
The smitten couple kept things casual in caps and joggers as they walked their dogs in Manchester.
They also made time for some bargain hunting, with James pictured carrying reduced-price lettuce out of the shops.
The loved up pair have been seen together on several occasions in recent weeks.

A source previously told The Sun: “They’re keeping things low key but they really like each other.”
Their latest outing was definitely more low-key than their appearance at The Cure Usher Ball in Manchester last month, when they also walked the red carpet together.
Inside, they sat next to each other and later posed for pictures with Emmerdale star Michelle Hardwick and her wife, Corrie boss Kate Brooks.
The pair were also spotted enjoying a weekend away in Belfast, where fans stopped them in the street for selfies and captured them in an Instagram video.

Beth and James also attended a special event celebrating BBC Radio 4 soap The Archers, in which James plays Police Sergeant Harrison Burns.
Meanwhile, The Sun recently revealed Beth is back filming for Corrie, with her character Megan set to make a shock return despite being behind bars.
Beth’s return is set to air later this year, with Megan’s comeback bringing a fresh twist to the storyline involving her former pupil Will Driscoll.
