Caroline played Dr Todd, who made a number of residents’ lives hell including Jacob Gallagher

The doc – who bullied Jacob Gallagher before sexually assaulting and blackmailing Charity Dingle – was seen dead on the floor with blood pooling around her head.

Weeks later, it was revealed that Sarah Sugden had pushed Dr Todd, causing her to hit her head during the fall, accidentally causing her death.

As the fallout from that continues to play out in Emmerdale, Caroline caught up with another dales villain.

Actress Louisa Clein – who played paedophile Maya Stepney – took to Instagram to share a snap of them together.

Dr Todd was killed off in July, with her killer being revealed last month
Meanwhile, Louisa played paedophile teacher Maya Stepney, who groomed Jacob

As the pair posed by a beach, Louisa captioned the shot: “When Maya Stepney met Dr Caitlin Todd …. @emmerdale.”

Louisa played twisted teacher Maya from 2018 to 2019, as she groomed partner David Metcalfe’s teenage son, Jacob.

Because Dr Todd also picked on Jacob, who was working at the same hospital, Emmerdale fans were convinced there was a link between the two villains.

One fan wrote in the comments: “This was the biggest “fan theory” that Dr Todd had something to do with Maya lol cause nobody could just sit and wait and watch to find out lol but great pic! I hope Maya comes back into Emmerdale sometime!”

Another added: “that’s what I thought to, I thought it was Maya’s mum or aunt that she wanted to get revenge on Jacob.”

A third commented: “I actually thought they would be mother and daughter.”
