Coronation Street and This Morning star reveals she’s pregnant with second child as she shares sweet reveal with husband
A CORONATION Street star has revealed she’s pregnant with her second child.
Nicola Thorp, 37, who is also known for her work on This Morning, shared her happy news in a post with her husband.
Sharing the news on Instagram, the soap star posted a slew of sweet snaps which included her showing off her bump.
In the next shot, Nicola’s actor husband Nikesh Patel, 40, was seen cradling her growing tum, while another saw her daughter kissing her belly.
Writing next to the adorable snaps, the actress said: “Sparking pregnancy rumours…”
Nicola’s former Corrie co-stars rushed share their joy for her, with Kym Marsh saying: “Congrats lovely!”
While her colleagues’ at This Morning also were thrilled for her, with Dermot O’Leary sharing a love heart emoji.
Nicola is set to become a mum-of-two, after she welcomed her first child in January 2024.
The star married husband Nikesh in the summer that same year.
Nicola is best known for her time on Coronation Street, playing Pat Phelan’s daughter, also called Nicola, from 2017.
After leaving the cobbles in 2019, she has switched her attention to presenting and opinion-led roles after making headlines as an outspoken activist.
Since 2020, Nicola has been a regular panellist on This Morning, where she often discusses the regular news of the day.
