Coronation Street sign up Marvel and Netflix star in mysterious new role

CORONATION Street has cast a Marvel and Netflix actress in a mysterious new role.
Captain America alum Nicole Evans appears on the ITV soap’s cast list for next week.

However, the exact specifics of her character on the cobbles are currently unknown.
The Sun reached out to ITV who confirmed Nicole would be playing a guest role
Nicole appeared in 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger as one of the USO dancers.
She has also featured in Netflix series The Sandman and ITV drama The Bay.
The Sun has contacted ITV for comment.

Nicole is no stranger to soaps, having recently appeared in fellow ITV show Emmerdale.
Earlier this year, The Sun revealed Nicole had joined the Yorkshire-set soap as a character with a “huge secret”.
A TV insider said: “This is really exciting for Nicole.
“She’s playing a really intriguing character with a huge secret that will ruffle feathers in the village.”
Nicole portrayed the role of Helen, a nurse working at Hotten General Hospital.
She met Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) to discuss villain Dr. Caitlin Todd (Caroline Harker).
Evil Dr. Todd had sexually assaulted Charity – and attempted to do so to Helen some years prior.
When approached by Charity and Vanessa, Helen declined the chance to report Dr. Todd to the police – saying she had moved on with her life.
Dr. Todd ultimately met her maker after being accidentally killed by Charity‘s granddaughter Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill).
