EastEnders’ Danny Walters reveals he’s engaged to girlfriend of 5 years and shares first pic of very romantic proposal
EASTENDERS star Danny Walters has revealed he’s engaged to his girlfriend of five years.
The hunky soap star, 33, announced their happy news by sharing the first picture of his very romantic proposal.
Posting the moment on Instagram, a thrilled Danny said: “Guess you’re stuck with me now.”
The couple had been enjoying a romantic break on the Greek island of Rhodes, when the star popped the question.
In the photo the actor could be seen on one knee with a ring in his hand as he asked girlfriend Maddi Faircloth to marry him.
Their friends and family shared their joy at their news, with Danny’s former EastEnders co-star Danielle Harold saying: “Ahhh so beautiful congratulations to you both .”
The pair have been dating since 2021, but didn’t go public until a year later.
Danny and Maddi, who starred in reality show Shipmates in 2019, went Instagram official with a loved up snap in January 2022.
They then welcomed their first child in March last year, a daughter sweetly named Autumn.
Danny – who rose to fame on Benidorm – is best known for playing Keanu Taylor in EastEnders.
However, his character was killed off at Christmas in 2023 as part of the The Six storyline.
Gutted viewers watched as Danny’s character was revealed as the mystery victim of the Christmas Day death.
