All Emmerdale spoilers for next week as Cain’s fists fly against his own family
A short week, but a dramatic one!

While it might be a shorter week of episodes in Emmerdale next week, the three we’re getting are absolutely loaded.
Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) takes decisive action to protect his sister Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) from the impending release of Tom King (James Chase), in a move that puts him squarely at odds with Sam Dingle (James Hooton): how far has he gone?
Kim Tate (Claire King) struggles to navigate her relationship with newly-discovered daughter, Thea Ramsden (Chelsea Edge), and after she accidentally hurts her feelings, she finds support in the unlikeliest of places, but where?
The palpable emotion between Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) and Kev Barton (Chris Coghill) looks set to be hampered when he wins a new job, meaning he’ll be saying goodbye to the café – is the spark between them set to be snuffed out already?
Caleb Miligan (William Ash) finds himself trapped in a vulnerable position after his night with Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) and, determined to keep the truth hidden from wife Ruby (Beth Cordingly), he tries to outmanoeuvre Sadie, but is she one step ahead?
Let’s get down to the nitty-gritty, shall we?
Monday, November 9

As Sam, Belle and Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah) anticipate Samson Dingle’s (Sam Hall) homecoming, they’re disturbed to learn that Tom has been beaten up and is in critical condition, and Belle’s further horrified when Cain admits he orchestrated the attack and Sam receives a call to say that, due to the attack, Samson won’t be coming home.
As the rest of the family realise that Cain was behind everything, Sam loses it, and he attacks his brother before collapsing into sobs.
While Nicola is shocked at Laurel Thomas’ (Charlotte Bellamy) suggestion that Kev has feelings for her, Kev admits as much to Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches), leaving him concerned, before he aces his trial at Robert Sugden’s (Ryan Hawley) new restaurants and earns a kitchen job, much to Lewis’ delight.

Realising that this means he’ll be leaving the café, he tells Nicola, and both are saddened by the turn of events, even more so when Kev declines a final cup of tea.
Meanwhile, as Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) continues to taunt Caleb over his night with Sadie, Caleb insists that Ruby would never believe Joe, but he counters that she’d definitely believe her ‘best friend’.
Tuesday, November 10

Thea is wounded when Kim invites her to spend time together, but falters when faced with the prospect of telling Mary Goskirk (Louise Jameson) about the true nature of their relationship, though after Thea leaves, she confesses the truth.
Finding support in the strangest place, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) offers Kim some advice after using her own relationship with Ryan Stocks (James Moore) as an example and later tells Thea that Kim told her the truth, while also offering her some advice.
Sam’s further broken to learn that Samson’s new charges could see his sentence lengthen, while Kammy tries his best to support Belle.

As Sam and Cain lock horns again over who should move out, Cain tries to get Belle to decide, and she finally explodes, pointing out the glaring holes in both of their argument before announcing that she’s going to talk to Tom, leaving Sam and Cain deeply ashamed.
Elsewhere, Caleb offers to put a deposit on a flat for Sadie in Banbury, but she pleads with him to stop thinking the worst of her, while Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) and Robert try to reign an overexcited Kev in, and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) seethes to see Robert’s new sign.
Wednesday, November 11

Working alongside Sadie is difficult for Caleb, but when Ruby arrives and lays into her over a missing order, and Sadie realises that it’s due to Caleb’s own interference.
As Caleb apologises to Sadie, Ruby bursts in to celebrate how Sadie fixed the situation, leaving Caleb back at square one in his attempts to create distance between them.
Later, Sadie promises Caleb that she has no intention of causing complications for him and Ruby, though as he leaves, she watches the video she captured of them sleeping together.

Thea is delighted when Kim announces that they’re mother and daughter to the Woolpack, though Joe remains ice cold to her, later convincing Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) that they need to keep an eye on Thea and her intentions.
Also, Belle tells Kammy she wants to visit Tom alone, and he promises to give her ten minutes before intervening, while Gabby is hurt by Kim’s continued coldness.
