Sadie’s shocker of a plan for Caleb as Emmerdale spoilers confirm what happens next

Caleb has no idea what’s coming

Caleb Miligan (William Ash) will rue the day he trusted Emmerdale’s Sadie King (Patsy Kensit), who – despite claiming to have turned over a new leaf – is as villainous as ever.

Sadie, as viewers know, was tasked by Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) to keep a watchful eye on Caleb and hit him where it hurts as part of his plan to punish the depot owner for his role in Dawn’s (Olivia Bromley) demise.

In typical Sadie fashion, she manipulated everyone in her grip, with Ruby (Beth Cordingly) believing that Caleb was controlling her while Caleb was led to believe wife Ruby was an alcoholic.

With Caleb at his wits end trying to help Ruby, he decide to call it quits on his marriage – and slept with scheming Sadie! Sadie, however, has seemingly developed feelings for Caleb and thus lied to Joe, revealing that she’s putting an end to their deal – and that she did not sleep with Caleb.

Joe, meanwhile, believed she wasn’t being wholly honest and thus confronted Caleb, revealing that Sadie has been operating as his spy. Caleb ultimately put his foot in it, revealing that he’d slept with Sadie.

When quizzed by Caleb on her alliance with Joe, Sadie assured him that she has no intentions of spinning the beans about their night of passion – and admitted that she’s started to fall for him.

And while it seems Sadie is intent on keeping shtum, she has ulterior motives, making it clear that she’s playing the long game and is intent on getting what she wants. And what does she want? Caleb!

For a first look at what’s coming next, here’s everything we know about the next visit to the village.

What happens next in Emmerdale? Spoilers for Thursday, November 5 episode

With Sadie intent on winning Caleb’s affection, just what will her next move be? She seems to have won his trust with her assurances that she won’t act on Joe’s behalf any longer – but can she succeed in wooing Caleb? And just how far will she go to rip him away from wife Ruby?

Nicola opens up to Kev

Elsewhere in the village, Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) is at rock bottom and thorws all her customers out at the cafe. Kev (Chris Coghill) comes to her aid, offering her a friendly ear.

Nicola admits that she’s missing Jimmy’s (Nick Miles) snoring and is unable to sleep without it. Kev reckons a change of scenery might help and therefore offers his bed. When she’s still unable to sleep, she passes by a snoring Kev on the sofa and lies beside him on the floor.

Belle is worried after seeing the flowers

Up at Wishing Well, Kammy (Shebz Miah) finds a wreath of dead flowers addressed to Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and fears it’s related to Tom King’s (James Chase) impending release from prison.

But is all as it seems?
