Emmerdale reveals who sent a death threat to Belle – and it’s not Tom

Belle is left furious that the delivery was kept secret from her.

Belle Dingle is left furious when she discovers Cain Dingle and Kammy Hadiq kept a secret from her in tonight’s episode of Emmerdale. The Dingle family are on high alert with Belle’s ex-husband Tom King’s impending release from prison.

Belle escaped a physically and emotionally abusive relationship with Tom, so his return to the village naturally has everyone on edge.

And a surprise delivery in tonight’s episode of the ITV soap caused Cain to pay Tom a visit in prison and could have seen Belle’s trust in her family broken when she needs it most.

The episode began with Kammy finding a wreath of dead flowers left outside the Dingle home, curiously addressed to Belle.

A note attached read, “To Belle for your special day,” and as Cain and Sam Dingle discussed the delivery with Kammy, they soon decided Tom is the prime suspect.

Cain urged Kammy not to tell her about the wreath, with Kammy pushing back and arguing it would break Belle’s trust.

Cain shuts him down, telling him he will deal with it just as Belle arrived home, forcing Kammy to keep the wreath secret for now.

Later, Caz, one of her clients, turns up and explains that Jordan, her fiancé, sent Belle the wreath of dead carnations as “a warning” to Caz, who tearfully said Belle was right in her warnings about him.

Belle was furious that Kammy and Cain kept the wreath a secret because they suspected Tom’s involvement, saying it was no reason to keep silent.

Unaware that the truth had been uncovered, Cain visited Tom in prison and questioned him about the wreath.

Tom was confused when Cain pushed for answers, and when Tom seemingly threatens Belle’s safety, he made it clear that he had connections inside the prison.

Tom continued to protest his innocence, and brought up that he knew Cain had cancer, to which he called him “a dead man.” Already at loggerheads before Tom is released, will this reignited feud spell trouble for Belle?
