Schemes begin to unravel

The insane web creepy Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) has spun in EastEnders finally begins to unravel next week.

Mark Fowler Jr’s (Stephen Aaron-Sipple) gangster past comes back to haunt him next week, as time is running out for him to repay his debt. When Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) lets slip to Grant (Ross Kemp) what’s going on, he jumps into the fray, feet first, despite Mark and Phil’s (Steve McFadden) warnings. Can Grant save his son, or will he make things ten times worse?
Nicola Mitchell’s (Laura Doddington) insidious arrangement with Eddie Knight (Christopher Fairbank) continues to cause issues for George Knight (Colin Salmon) and as more people insist George abandon his adoptive dad, she’s faced with further trouble trying to maintain control. Can she manipulate the situation in her favour?
Okay, I know. I’ve teased enough. Let’s dive into the full spoilers for next weeks trip to Albert Square.
Monday, May 11

With the worry that she’s been the victim of identity theft hanging over her, Honey’s pressed by Billy to find out when Bea will be leaving and learns of her plans to move in with Ian, though he breaks up with her when he sees she’s referred to them as husband and wife in a gazette article. Things continue to get worse for Bea when Ian learns that she paid for his votes with her fraudulent credit card in Honey’s name and confronts her in front of Honey herself.
Nicola struggles to be present at Ivy’s Ghanaian naming ceremony after her meeting with Eddie’s prison officer at No.1. After Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) comes across her scheme, Nicola pushes George to allow Eddie to move in, and he acquiesces by allowing him to stay in the basement flat.
Elsewhere, Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) is deflated when Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) returns and tells her he doesn’t trust her and time will be needed to fix their relationship, Grant continues to help Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) reconnect with son Johnny (Charlie Suff) and Ian forgets Kathy Beale’s (Gillian Taylforth) birthday.
Tuesday, May 12

Eddie’s presence at Ivy’s naming ceremony causes trouble with George and Nicola’s respective families, and he later makes it clear to Nicola that if he’s not permitted to move into the main house with the family, she won’t see a penny of his money.
Cornered, Bea admits her guilt to Honey, who turns to Kathy, Ian, Linda and Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) for advice. Later, as Honey is about to forgive and forget, Billy returns, having learned of what’s happened and boots Bea out. As she leaves, she strikes back by tampering with his ladder.
Meanwhile, Mark is sweating over his repayment to the gang, leading Sam to suggest he talk to Grant. With further encouragement from Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa), he does, though Grant’s flirtation with Linda leads them coming to blows. When Lauren tells Mark she doesn’t have room for any more cars, he finally turns to Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) over the debt.
Wednesday, May 13

With Vicki’s encouragement, Mark secures a £30,000 loan from Phil to buy himself some time, though Grant insists on helping when he learns what’s happening from Sam. Though Phil and Mark insist Grant stay out of it, he approaches Mark’s former boss, and soon things go from bad to worse.
Harry pleads with Nicola to go back on her deal with Eddie for Gina Knight’s (Francesca Henry) sake, but she stands firm: if she doesn’t secure a cash injection, their businesses will collapse and she faces further problems when George refuses to allow Eddie into the main house.
Also, Bea is wracked with panic when her recent behaviour causes serious problems.
Thursday, May 14

Bea desperately tries to mend things with Ian, but too much damage has been done and he sends her away, leading her to head to McClunky’s to sleep there, completely out of options.
Mark’s boss confronts Vicki, and when he learns of Grant’s involvement, he tells his dad to stay out of his life forever. Mark’s later accosted by Lauren over the legitimacy of the cars he’s supplying, and Sam gives him an idea.
Concurrently, Nicola soundly rejects Eddie’s attempts to bond, while Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) warns George off from allowing Eddie back into his life.
