Coronation Street star splits with fiance after 10 years together – and just a year after romantic engagement

CORRIE star Anthony Crank has split with his long-term fiance less than a year after getting engaged.
The actor, known for playing drug dealer Dean Turnbull in the ITV soap, has separated from artist and adult star Craig Lomax after a decade together.

A source close to the former couple told The Sun: “It’s a really sad situation.
“It’s all amicable and they remain friends but it’s sad for them and sad for their dogs.”
The source added: “Anthony and Craig had been together for years before deciding to get engaged.
“They were making plans for their big day but sadly they realised that their relationship had run its course.”
The Sun reached out for comment.
Anthony revealed he and Craig were engaged last summer when he posted a photo on Instagram showing matching rings on their fingers.

Revealing the news, he penned:“@craig_lomax. 31/12/2016 – ????,” complete with red heart and diamond ring emojis.
Fans immediately took to the comment section to congratulate the happy couple, with one user writing at the time: “Yay!!!!!!!! Congratulations.”
Craig also shared the same image on his own page, which got a flurry of comments from fans and loved ones.
The pair were together from December 2016 until now, meaning their split comes months before they could have reached 10 years together.
Before arriving on the cobbles, Anthony hosted Sunday morning Channel 4 show T4 from 2002 and 2005.
Anthony’s Coronation Street career initially began in 2011.
Long before playing a criminal, Anthony played a unnamed police officer in two episodes.
He conducted a random drug search on David Platt and Gary Windass.
His character later escorted Liz and Steve McDonald during Jim McDonald’s building society armed robbery.
It was then in 2022 that he began playing a local scoundrel and drug dealer Dean Turnball.
Across 2022 and 2024, Anthony played the drug lord Dean, with him often bringing chaos to the cobbles.
Away from the Manchester-based soap, Anthony’s television credits include roles in Hollyoaks, Shameless, The Syndicate, and Accused.
He also helps run the Manchester Television Workshop.
